Several years ago I had a Swarovski hookup and had just purchased my first pair of 10-42s using a small work bonus. That year my wife drew her first rifle bull tag and a friend of mine was out helping us. We were glassing Horse Knoll when my buddy starts asking about how to get the sweet deal while my wife is looking through my glasses. She didn't take her eyes off the glasses and said "I thought these work a lot better". She didn't get mad. Busted. We've all done it.

Anyone have a truck bed water tank they want to sell? I'm looking for a 300 gallon tank. I can pay cash, or trade ammo/both. 602 512-5345

Do you agree with G&F forcing kids to take Hunter Safety???
Ed67 replied to Big Browns's topic in Youth Hunters
I've been through it 3 times. 35 years ago when I was 12 and with both of my kids over the years. I learn something every time and I believe it should be mandatory for all.. -
I sent mine in on Friday without a hitch. 12AW late and 44A sheep. 11 points each..no chance on sheep but maybe.........deer?

We spent half of Saturday fishing upstream from Black River crossing. We hiked around 2 miles up and fishing was poor the first mile and a half. Two of us caught and released around 25 smallmouth each. We used 1/16 oz jigs with either pink, yellow or black 2" grubs. Road was in good condition from the white mountain side.

What units are you hunting? I have property in sw colorado and they have been pounded with rain and snow this spring. Last summer feed looked good and there were a lot of twin fawns with does.

Here is a pic of a smaller bull for reference. My wife shot it many years ago on a 22n late hunt. 5-5 frame but had 7 on one side. I think I scored it around 240.

The park pond at 35th Ave and baseline will be more tame than a rim lake this weekend

I have a street legal ranger also. My understanding is they will ticket you for the non DOT approved off road tires if you have them on a street legal ohv.

My wife is using my Remington 700 mountain rifle in 270 on her bull elk hunt. Love the gun and she shoots it well.

I like this idea. If we each rent a sat phone then we don't have to be tied down to one phone booster (or spend hundreds each to have one) plus we can carry it in our packs. Do you have the name of the place you rented it? Mobal at www.mobal.com.

I've had this hunt twice and killed one bull with opportunities on both hunts. Both times the first two days were good then quiet until the last three. A lot of people hunt the weekends and go home during the week. The second week, M-th seemed like I had the unit to myself. I usually hunt the south central area. Good luck.
