I saw a pair of small cabelas neoprene hip waders in perfect condition at goodwill, 35th ave and southern today. $19.99. I don't have anyone that small in my family but looked like a good deal. If anyone is really interested but far away I'll go pick them up.

It's not required by law and I don't want to

Nice pics and bulls. Good luck

Took both kids up a few years back on the early hunt and I never stepped foot in the unit prior. I got info from the azgfd website and it paid off. My son killed a buck the first day and my daughter missed two different bucks. There are a lot of nice coues in that unit-and more rattlesnakes than any area I've ever been to. Bring snake boots or gaiters on early hunts. Good luck.

Nice gun, great price. I just picked up the 22/45 lite. I'd buy it if I didn't just buy.

How does late Oct hunting differ from Nov/ Dec
Ed67 replied to no worries's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
There are usually a lot of camps off the Batamote sp? Rd on the south end of the sierritas if you plan to hunt that area. I used to years ago but have moved to B. -

I've had both hunts several times in 36B over the years but I prefer the early one just to have first option in the bucks. It usually is quite warm the first one and pretty much the same the second. I've had variations where the first was cold though but not often. Either way it's a good time. I applied for an early leftover and will likely be heading down. -
Thanks for the update. We shifted gears and are going to spend the weekend between Groundhog and McPhee in Colorado.

My son finishes basic training next week and I'll have a short window to take him out to do something. He wants to fish an overnight trip out of San Diego. Anyone have any experience with the Jig Strike? They have a couple overnight trips coming up. Thx.
-
That's incredible
-
We may end up doing a 3/4 day. It seems the fish counts are no better or worse than the overnight trips. 208 I realize a two day is much different than 3/4 or overnight trips but your report would likely make my decision. Would you report how your trip goes? Thx.

Happy jack lodge has cabins at 99 a night I believe

I'll give it a few more days and keep checking the counts then make a decision. Thanks for all the input.

Thanks I just looked at the counts. We might go with plan B

Several years ago I had a Swarovski hookup and had just purchased my first pair of 10-42s using a small work bonus. That year my wife drew her first rifle bull tag and a friend of mine was out helping us. We were glassing Horse Knoll when my buddy starts asking about how to get the sweet deal while my wife is looking through my glasses. She didn't take her eyes off the glasses and said "I thought these work a lot better". She didn't get mad. Busted. We've all done it.

Picked one up this morning out there. Thanks.

Anyone have a truck bed water tank they want to sell? I'm looking for a 300 gallon tank. I can pay cash, or trade ammo/both. 602 512-5345

Do you agree with G&F forcing kids to take Hunter Safety???
Ed67 replied to Big Browns's topic in Youth Hunters
I've been through it 3 times. 35 years ago when I was 12 and with both of my kids over the years. I learn something every time and I believe it should be mandatory for all.. -
I sent mine in on Friday without a hitch. 12AW late and 44A sheep. 11 points each..no chance on sheep but maybe.........deer?

We spent half of Saturday fishing upstream from Black River crossing. We hiked around 2 miles up and fishing was poor the first mile and a half. Two of us caught and released around 25 smallmouth each. We used 1/16 oz jigs with either pink, yellow or black 2" grubs. Road was in good condition from the white mountain side.
