Thanks if anyone can offer input. It’s tough to get anyone on the phone line Do I need a permit to camp while in possession of a big game tag? Also I was going to buy a lion tag on the website but it looks like the permits are only good for a 24 hour period. Do I need to buy multiple for a 3-4 day hunt?

Not with vacuum sealer but used heavy duty flat bottom ziploc bags that can handle boiling water. Can break down the larger freeze dried meals and use less bulk in uiu pack.

I was there last weekend and caught a bunch of bass from bank and boat. I'm a terrible fisherman too. Just throw something out there, let it drop, wiggle it around and yep bass.

Tire question for 1/2 ton truck trailer pullers. Anyone here running Load range F tires instead of E? I currently have F rated tires/Toyo AT3s on my Tundra but dang are they a rough ride and wondering if it’s overkill. my current trailer is about 5300 empty.

We used to camp at that very spot at Cochran in the 80s/early 90s during the HAM javelina hunts. I saw some incredible mule deer bucks back then. Shot my first archery javelina near south butte in 1982. Area seems to be overrun by ATVs/UTVs now.
