Just so everyone recalls ( I was a young teen at the time) the Bonus Point Scam, as many of you call it, is what the Hunters of the state chose when it was implemented ... There were 3 options on the table I know one was limiting draw to once in 3 years ( if I recall right ) , The bonus point system , and I do not recall the 3rd ... Keep having fun bashing and feeling short sided by G&F if helps you sleep at night ... I do not like the idea of being charged but things in this world do not come free ... If you really do not like it you can always choose to hunt elsewhere

My brother is still using a 520 he got the year they came out ... I have the 530 and 650 and most of the guys in our circle of hunting friends have 650's .... After using the joystick control for a while it took some getting use to the touch screen, but it does work well ...I would say being able to poll each other and see exactly where everyone is at is the biggest thing for us ... the radios work great but like all FRS lose some distance in the thick stuff and down in canyons ... The camera and extra memory for storing those pics ( the free Topo as mentioned IMO is better than that you get with the 655) were not enough for me to justify the cost ... You can find some good deals on the 650's if you look and is what I would recommend... p.s. whatever you choose get a screen protector ... everyone I know has christened their screens on the first trip one way or another ... minor scratch is no big deal just pisses you off when you see it !

God! I love this site ... You say something Defending G&F and you must work for them ... You comment on The current state of our nations prison systems and you must work for one .... Jim,not hard to do research and get valid information to see the good and THE BAD of privatized prisons ... They want to capitalize on near slave labor and provide better security keeping the scum behind walls .. I have no problem with that ... I do have a problem with them having contracts stipulating that they must be guaranteed a certain occupancy % usually above 90% and taxpayers paying for empty beds when that quota is not being met. I would not be surprised if the prison call centers do not have some kind of Contact with the Democrats phone soliciting for their candidates ... IMO guys like these two, who make home in maximum security prisons for violent acts, should have an implant at the base of the brain and top of spine with a small charge and locator beacon .... IF they find a way to get outside the wall, after a few steps that small charge pops leaving them dead in their tracks... The locator beacon is so no time is wasted finding the dead body (and of course monitoring inside the facility),,, No wasted $$$$$ and Time on Manhunts... No wasted $$$$ on Hospitals when a bullet meant to take him out misses it's spot and fails to send him to the grave.... no additional innocent casualties

I have thought about doing that exact same thing haha! Iv seen em absolutely destroy those Styrofoam bobbers ...I mean pieces everywhere. Yeah!!! I was getting pissed off, seeing how often they were shredding those cheap Bright Orange Styrofoam Cigar Bobbers cutting my line in the process leaving my to re-rig .... And I always try to be prepared ... Gutted the yellow plastic clip from center ran about 18 inches of steel leader through it with a few different size beads between a 3/0 treble hook and bobber and bobber and top of leader where I had a stopper allowing for about an 1 - 1/12 inches of gap to allow it to slide back and fourth, little cracking the beads , on the 18 inch leader .... I was not surprised that it worked but was surprised how well .... plus beat the heck out of losing $4-$7 spinners for every few fish like my buddies were doing ... I do not get up fishing pike that often , but I dang sure will make up some more variations and one just like I made on shore that day ...

The American Prison system is a Joke and really just more Welfare ... for inmates who get better treatment than many of our veterans and corporate welfare by letting and making some of these F'ed up contracts with the privatized prisons that now house a good percent of inmates and is growing every year.

red and black buzz-baits and spinners with steel leaders..... buzz-bait liked to do a weightless trailer about 6 inches behind.... heck on one trip after losing a half dozen rigs (fishing bait on bobber) because they kept attacking the the Hunter Orange Bobbers cutting my Mono above the leader ... I fashioned my own Mcgyver top water bait running a steel leader just through the bobber connected to a big treble hook... That thing out fished everything that weekend landing 23 pike before a big one stole it. That was my last trip up there about 6 years ago ... If I ever go back I will be making up a few variations similar to what I made on the bank that day

If any of you read the actual court rulings and responses ... There is nothing prohibiting a church from denying a gay couple the service of being wed... If there are to be any lawsuits , they will not win and if by chance they do , they will be over turned by SCOTUS for being unconstitutional. I agree with those that feel too much energy is being spent hating on something that is not new( Archie Bunker's wife had a transgender friend that got killed on that show), the issue is the liberal media machine that is trying to force people into acceptance... No one should have to accept anything they feel goes against their INDIVIDUAL morals. As long as it is not being shoved in my face I say let them be, but with like so many other things the liberals take these little issues and try to make them into a BS circus and all are forced to watch. Playing devils advocate... If everyone used the logic that gay individuals were born that way, and it is not a choice... so all should accept it, then we also should accept Serial murderers. The same has been said for many Serial Murderers , as to being born that way with a brain defect that makes them that way.

I remember growing up and being on San Carlos Lake.... My dad always slowed down the boat in the same spot because of an old Timer Apache that was always standing in his canoe spearing carp with his home made spears ... he loved carp and was always willing to take them carp off our hands any time we caught them while jigging the trees . Was cool watching him work the way he did in that old canoe, I know I could not have been able to keep it upright the way he did.

Would have saved a lot of time, money, and resources ... if these inmates just had exploding neck collars on with a tracker ... Hey warden we have an escapee can I hit the Button ?
