I see 5 Muleys ... The one has a discolored tail but same structure... ears and coloring in faces all look Muley to me may be 4 and a hybrid.

If I had the $$$$$ to get one of those tags I would take a year long DIY hunting sabbatical ....

Not accurate at all and not the rules ... I posted the national rules on the other thread ... I have not ever said you can not hang them and I have friends that do ... What I pointed out out and as what you posted says They are considered personal property and fall in as abandoned after 24 hours ( up to 72 in some forests) .... There are The Main Rules and Each forest can also have specific rules and amendments ... That is for the Coconino Forest and their way of just saying we told you it was not recommended.... As personal property they also fall into the same rules as tree stands if you are cutting or bolting into live trees and if they are found by FS they will be removed and impounded seen them in the process in 23 2 years ago. You may look at my view as telling others what to do, and that is not the case ... but IMO if you know the rules , you know the type of society that wanders around on public lands you should take responsibility for taking the gamble to up your odds on Hunt week without being surprised and coming on to whine, piss and moan about things disappearing... We have been seeing these threads about missing cams pretty much since the forum started it just gets old seeing the rants and assumptions thrown around year after year attacking other hunters ... There are bad hunters with no ethics out there taking them , I am sure of that ... but they are not the only ones we all know that as well... From now on I will just say "AWE MAN... Is it being taken down and only being flown from Dawn to Dusk ? Or is it lit through the night ... Coming from a military family there are ways to fly the american flag that are considered disrespectful and technically flying the American Flag 24 unlit at night is one of them ... I am all for displaying the American Flag, and will give the first donation to secure the legal permits and build a way to display it properly 24hours lit at night, but if not done proper sorry I would not be in support ... Na man .... I am done pointing out how it is like guys laying down money on the poker table then crying foul when they lose it all ... Take RESPONSIBILITY for the risk and gamble you take ... IGNORANCE IS BLISS

Wow.... The BS that people have to sell to themselves to justify not following rules/laws..... By the way people every day walk away from vehicles that break down, or run out of gas or just park it planning on returning to them to find them gone... IMPOUNDED .... if it was FS that took the cam and he goes to their site and reads the laws he will find what he should do to try and reclaim it ... If it was not forest service, there is nothing he can do because by the law it was abandoned .. it was litter ... The gamble of using trail cams in Public forests are no different really, these days, than hanging it in public areas downtown like a park or sidewalk corner...

If the forest service removed it, it really does not matter what you consider...Bottom line is .... That It is a law that you and others choose to ignore.... In some forests ( except for designated camping areas ) it is only 24 hours before being considered abandoned ... By the way you can always contact the Forest service and see if it is impounded ... I think they keep them for a specific period of time before disposing of them.
