I passed up a couple over the course of the hunt, but this was a day 10 shooter! It was awesome as I had my wife with me that morning. Heart shot and he was down within 80 yards.

Wasn't it crazy??! I hate going up Labor Day weekend but it's tough when it's the weekend before the hunt starts. I'm with you and hoping they get a few days to calm down.

Mormon Lake Lodge! There are also a few cabin rentals in Mormon Lake.

All signs point to a good rut. We could always use more rain but the range is looking good and antler growth is above average from what I've seen. Good luck!

Me neither and I've been looking! I suppose they're just in a small area up there.

If it's dry, it's the first thing id be doing. My observations are that Bulls water more in daylight hours during the late season then they do in August and September.
