I really don't know why I'm responding because I quit caring about 8 hours ago. Your argument is my point. The dry ups as you refer to them would not happen if we all didn't do exactly what you are saying. I get being prepared and I'm not arguing with everyone don't it. It has become a reality for all of us because everyone is doing it, thus screwing up the supply and thus causing the dry ups. You literally just said exactly what I brought up. I was simply sharing the crap this guy was starting to get had nothing to do with price but more about this type of stocking up is the cause of not being able to get ammo when you want it. and now the factories are pumping out so much 22, 233, 9in etc, it may be a challenge to find your favorite hunting round this fall. plus the quarterly 20 to 30% price jumps on top it don't forget. Simply sharing a thought here about this. Holy bat shoot Batman.

Again not complaining or even searching. Was sharing an opinion based on the previous comments about price concerns. this isn't a price gouging issue but a supply issue. When everyone buys a few extra thousand rounds because this chit happens all the time. This wouldn't happen all the time if everyone didn't buy a few extra thousand rounds every time a Democrat farts. I have no issues with the op or anyone just sharing a cause and effect moment. Happy selling or hoarding to all
-
Yeah you are right, he's probably the only one with 8k plus rounds sitting around.. Not calling anyone a dick or complaining, just pointing out what starts and contributes to a lack of stuff on the shelves and us searching.

I'll just say this is not a price issue but a hoarding concern The supply chain works for all if some don't f it up by hoarding. Ammo, tp, paper towels whatever. But it's a America and God bless anyone's right to f it up I guess. Lots are doing it which causes others to do it and so on and so on. Until you just can't go to the store and buy a 50rnd box of 22s anymore to take your kid shooting on your day off or have something to wipe your a$$ with besides a coffee filter. Examples only, not that this may have happened to me or anything.

I have owned or family owned 6 or 7 different trailers now in my life and the Nash/Artic Fox that I owned 20 years ago now, was the best built of all of them. Good luck with sale.

What guys won't go through to get a piece. Unreal. thanks!
-
NO haha, just messing. Good luck with sale.

If you happen to go with a campground instead we used Point of Rocks for an antelope hunt and for a baseball tourney. Nice place, javelina come through every night so feels like camping even.

Gotcha. That's not too bad then.

I would be ok with the trout limit to 4 if they stock only 15"+ trout and at the same numbers, but if they cut the stocking numbers by 33% and continue to start stocking at 9"... not a fan.

The guy wants a 410, why is this a debate? Good Lord

That's cool, I have never seen one before either. I ordered mine when I worked at a gun shop back in mid 90s. I sold to a guy that actually moved to Fargo. I had a model seven youth stock for it that I ordered and then the full size stock that came with it. My kid shot his first pig with it with the youth stock. I'll reach out to him and see if by chance he is looking to sell it.

I used to have a model seven in 17rem. Fun lightweight predator and pig gun. If you hit bone, it leaves a big hole, if you double lung it leaves a very little hole (pigs, foxes and coyote). A lot of speed in a very small barrel. If you are only talking about centerfires, I agree, I've always wanted a 17 hornet.

I've shot a couple snakes with 22lr snake shot (both times out of 4" pistol) and it only pissed them off and makes them come harder at me, luckily I carried stingers as an e/o and those do the trick. I don't know if there an effective range for that stuff out of a handgun or not, but I'm not going to do any studies on it. +1 on the 410+ for me or a big rock always works.

Last night about 9pm it was easy to find in the NW sky. It looks like it is getting higher in the horizon as the week goes on. But I can't find what is the optimal viewing time? From what I saw last night, it was not as cool as the pictures I see online and binos were better viewing than the spotter. I'm guessing there maybe a better time of night?

Boarman I have the A22 (wanted the 22mag for a bit more ft/lbs for coyotes) and had the same problem.. talked to Savage and they sent me the newer style mags and haven't had a problem since. They changed mag design a bit sometime late last year so depends when they funneled out of the old ones and when you got yours. And yes the A22 shoots the best and hits as hard or harder than anything else I have shot through it. Anyway the mags are bullet proof for me so far! My son has the 17wmr and it kills everything, but I wanted to play with the semi auto so went 22wmr vs 17hmr. I wish they would make that 17wmr in that format. Great shooting rifle.

TSS loads. Any guage. Lots of birds being killed with 410s even - all ranges and all the rage.

I've sold him a few things over the years and always a gracious guy and wanted to discuss whatever was on his mind. His message for prayers the other day when going in actually made me pause when I first read it if he was feeling more anxious than normal over this one. Either way what a horrible shame and my prayers to his family.

Ticketmaster and 1st party providers have been great, but those that resell only I have found to only push credits and not refunds.
-
One piece of advice about stubhub (and I'm sure some other resellers) especially right now with so many cancellations, is that some only refund a credit to be used at a later date if the event is cancelled.

We have found very buck specific and situational. Definitely not an automatic but feels like a good tool for the tool box. 3 years ago in 10 it worked on 3 bucks, although we ended up killing behind a moo cow and last year it did not work on any that I can recall and killed on a spot in stalk in 5. Fun hunts with lots of opportunity for trial and error after error after error.
