How to deal with bad taxidermy???

That sucks. If you give Troy a call, I would be shocked if you were disappointed. In the 5 years now that we have been using him, nothing has gone longer than 9 months and literally perfect when we get it. He has a wood guy and metal guy in town for anything custom plus all the other stuff you can order ofcourse. Great little b-fast burrito and hamburger shack in town too called Pepper Jacks plus get to see goats there and back.

How to deal with bad taxidermy???

Authentic Taxidermy in Chino Valley. I've posted a few of the mounts he has done for us here I think.. under the taxidermy section maybe. Dual Goat, Dual Pig, 1/2 bear and bear rug for sure. Buddy got a nice coues done by him last year and his deer and elk look great too. He is just super accommodating and willing to draw something up for you. Found the link

This is cool. I saw this coppering one time that I really liked and personally would be more interested in if she could master this

    WTB Savage A17 ammo

Same problem with A22. I had a buddy looking in mn and he sent me a picture of A17. Not sure if the ship but was the new Scheels in Eden Praire. No A22 though.
  7. That's cool. on hree different occasions jumping ducks I've had hawks or a falcon knock ducks out of the air after I jump shot the tank. One time I took the dang bird when it hit the ground. Figured I spent more that day than he did. The coolest was chasing mearns in sonoita area one year Covey jumped up and a falcon came swooping through the oaks like a f15. He came by my head and was in those birds asses faster than I could get a follow up shot. Birds of prey are bad arses. My son did the tank thing for quail one year after he filled his coues tag. Her was probably 12 I would guess. I was still glassing for a buck over the next ridge and about every 20 mins I heard three quick shots. He limited that morning. The pattern of shots was funny.

    Panic Buying

I shared this sentiment in a post about 2 months ago and was called every name in the book at that I was idiot and shouldn't complain and should be better prepared even though I wasn't looking for anything and wasn't complaining etc but will share again. Every major ammo manufacturer has had at least 2 20% increases in cost and obviously double down on the most popular production runs making all that more difficult to find hunting ammo. The supply chain works of we don't f it up. Happy ammo hunting
  9. Just more dead heads from douches shooting further than they can.
  10. hmmm. that's interesting. That is where babies come from don't forget... I don't know what G&F manages elk herd ratios to, but I would say a 1:15 or so would be appropriate. I guess rarely do I see a heard of more than 10-12 cows without more than 1 bull (spikes included).

How to deal with bad taxidermy???

I got tired of bad taxidermy and no communication. I have been using a guy that is close to 3 hours from me now, but well worth the trip out of the valley. Everything is done in 8-9 months and zero hassle. Found him out of necessity on a warm goat hunt and between my family and my hunting friends probably have taken him a dozen animals since 2015 and each time just perfect and exactly how we drew it up.
  13. I'd pay double for my tags and sit out 2X as long if they would cut the deer and elk tags (especially those slaughter cow hunts) by 1/3. Not sure I can say the same for antelope since you get 2or 3 in a lifetime.

    Inherited a rifle

I've got a 92 in 25-20 made in 1910 that I keep thinking would be cool to javi hunt with but I love archery hunting the little buggars so much just haven't. To date have only killed a homer bucket with it at 75yards. They do shoot well. Enjoy!

Can I ask what loads you are shooting out of it? I'm anxious to get it out.

Who has a 6.5 prc for sale?

Check out the savage ultralight - proof research carbon barrel. I got one in 280ai earlier this year and absolutely love it (this one is a bit heavier as I changed out stocks and added bottom metal and a brake ~7lbs) - First coues in the books with it on Friday. I ordered a 6.5prc a few months ago and got the update that it is shipping this week (this one will be stock plus brake ~6lbs) - now just need to find ammo.
