I was going to build my bracket out of some angle iron and flat plate, but as soon as I got them I tried to just set them up side by side before I went through all the work and realized that I could get them close enough together, my buddy was with me and it worked for him.

Hey guys, Call me stupid, bit I ordered 2 Vortex Razor HD 16-48x65 Straight Spotting Scopes in hopes of being able to mount them side by side to make a set of "Big Eyes". Well it didn't work for me but worked awesome for my buddy, he just couldn't afford to buy them, so they are up for sale. Price will include shipping, tax and a neoprene case to help protect it while out in the deep woods. I am asking $1050 each or if you would like to get both I will go $2000 for everything. The only catch to this deal is that I need to get rid of them with in the next two weeks or I ship them back to vortex and we loose out on this deal. If interested please contact me at aflguides@gmail.com or 435-668-8063 Thanks Kory Bundy

12x50 & 20x56 glassing setup thoughts??
StripBucks replied to tomkat12's topic in Optics and tripods
Yes, I follow what you are asking. I have a pair of Kiabab 20x56 I'm trying to sell right now but it is not a lack of quality for the reason I am getting rid of them (my eyes are to close together to be able to use them for the purpose of the design, and my deep freeze went out so I need a new one ). Due to this problem I use 10x42 around my neck, viper hd 15x50 on my tripod and then a spotting scope for determining the quality of animal I am looking at. I bought the 20's for the same intent you are asking about and they are awesome, the hope was to be able to eliminate my spotting scope on some of my hikes when it wouldn't be needed. I have sold several pair to some of the guides up here on the strip and they find them very useful and well worth the money and they use them in the same way you are describing. It is really nice to be able to use both eyes for glassing when you are looking a mile + and can tell if it an animal is worth taking a closer look at. If you looking to order some give me a call or send me an email. Kory Bundy aflguides@gmail.com 435-668-8063 -

Vortex Razor HD 12x50 vs Vortex Kiabab 15x56
StripBucks replied to couesfreak23's topic in Optics and tripods
When you decide let me know and I will get you a price on both them, they are both great binos, but the biggest advantage to the Razors is that you can still use them hand held. Kory 435-668-8063 aflguides@gmail.com -
I have had these binos for a year and only used them a couple of times, mainly because I can't sit behind them for long periods of time because my eyes are extremley close together and I can't get the eye cups close enough together to get them comfortable. The binos are awesome and I don't want to get rid of them but there is no reason to have them if I can't use them. My father has a pair and it is all he uses now, he rants and raves about the quality and how much he loves them, just wish I could use them so I could keep them. The glass is flawless and no problems, the only issue is a small scratch on the rubber coating (just aesthetics), vortex comes with a VIP unconditional lifetime warranty that is transferable from owner to owner, so you will never get stuck with a problem. I am asking $1200, they retail in stores for $1400 plus tax, so this will save you over $250. The price includes shipping! Please only serious enquires! aflguides@gmail.com 435-668-8063 Kory
