Last year my boots were hurting after three days and I finished the last 6 days in my cross trainers with no problems. This year I got a pair of Ariats that seem like they will work. Light, comfortable, and good support.

What is that on his ear? Does it say Bob?

Unit 2 use to be a good unit long ago. Yes there are still some big ones in there. When I hunted it ML about 12 years ago there were hunters everywhere. Go over to Bowsite and read under the mule deer forum for some recent experiences to see what I am talking about. Those were Jan. bow hunts but I have also talked to friends that rifle hunted it 2 out of the last 4 years in November. They told me a 140"-150" deer was a good deer from that unit nowadays.

Love the "Faces of Death" episode with the guy trying to get a picture of a grizzly bear. Can't remember if it was Glacier or Yellowstone but one swipe was all it took. He had a sandwich outside the car saying "here mr. bear" and the wife saying "honey, don't do that". Some people are idiots.

I just grow my beard in and it comes in with a pattern like a skunk. Starting to turn more grey than dark so maybe it will come in like an inverted skunk this year. Grey with a dark brown stripe instead of dark with a white stripe.

Sorry to hear the sad news.

Cool buck. Great Job!

Doesn't help with the antler growth but puts more meat in the freezer

So the judge orders the names not to be released but we know who it is by the report where they forgot to take her name and position out of the report. Who else was involved and how do I get one of those jobs?

Rained at my house today. Watched the weeds grow 3 inches which usually doesn't happen until August. Hoping it does that to the deer and elk antlers.

Look way cool.

dang that sucks. I hope insurance covers it as Kleins aren't cheap. I just replaced my linesmen after losing my five year old set in the attic insulation. Cost $45 and they just don't feel the same in my hand. The worst the thieves have got me is by breaking into a house and in about an hour rip out a day of roping, all #12,#10,#8 wire.

Also since this is from a dealer you will probably be able to put down your cash or finance it. Probably under warranty too.

Check your dealers to see if they have any previous years model. Nothing wrong with buying a used one but I found this on craigslist in Albuquerque. You draw the first hunt or second? I may run into you as I got the second hunt for archery in there. Feel like Charlie with the golden ticket!

I wonder if this cost less than you think. AzG&F is a law enforcement agency. I wonder if this falls under public service ads. I know our end DWI does not cost what it should due to public service ads. A wondering mind is a dangerous mind.

I think about 5% of the US hunts and 5% are anti-hunting. The other 90% are neutral so the more positive of a message you can get out the better. Look at the PR campaign that Co. started and it has helped change the views of the non-hunting public. It won't change the rabid anti's but it does help with the other 90%.

I don't know what I like better, the bear mount or the cup holder. That is a nice bear mount.

Murpys69law--The way I understand it is if you have an eastern count 8 point, eye guard, and then three other points on each side it is counted as a 3x3 Coues. You count the eye guard or G1, then the g2, then the g3, but the g4 is counted as the end of the main beam and not a point. So you have 3 points on each side and the end of the main beams. I just count them like elk or eastern style, 8 point.

Nice. When I first saw it I thought it was a two bow model, turning the arrow holder 90 degrees and putting the knob on top would be simple to make it a two bow model, one arrow holder per side if you see what I am suggesting.

Agreed. So why complain if your stuff gets stolen. We have all had it happen. Yes it's frustrating but this is world full of thieves. My idea would be to develop a way to conceal a camera in a fake tree or rock. Nothing gets stolen, yet, and you make money on a new invention. JMO Now you posted my idea to the whole world . I researched how to make faux rocks out of cement and styrofoam. I am even trying to make limbs and stumps. I figured concealment might be better than locks, going . When I get them the way I want I will post some pictures. Sorry to Alpine that he had one stolen but now that it is easier to get into the woods more will disappear, locked and identified or not.

Looks nice. Few things I would change that you might want to think about. 1) rotate the black knob and arrow holders 90 degrees. That way you could put arrows on both sides for a 2 shooter station. 2) The black knob appears to tighten the square tubing inside the square tubing so if you made those about equal it appears you might be able to shorten it more than 37". 3) Same principle with the feet and bow holder, one slides in the other to compact. Overall very nice design.

I agree. One of the best drives for scenery was when I lived in Farmington and we went to Silver City. Went south to I-40, cut over into Az and came back into NM at Luna. 550 to I-25 south would have been faster but sometimes faster is not better.
