My results came up like this: 0% left wing 0% right wing 100% BREAST

Wonder if this thread will get to 10 pages before anything starts showing up. You all are lucky as our draw closes tomorrow at 5 and then I have to wait a month for results. Well I am lucky as we have a definite date for results. I know I am going deer hunting and my daughter will go elk hunting. I just have to know about my elk tag and where the daughter is hunting. At least this keeps me entertained.

I usually have to buy four maps because everywhere I hunt is right on the corner of those four maps. That is why I am happy with services where I can print my own maps to avoid that. Almost as good as Forlorn Hope is I have the complete book of quadrangle maps for NM from the early 70's that were issued to all NMSP officers.

Sounds like a great hunt.

It would but I am afraid of what else it might take care of. Lead poisoning can be more selective and controlled. Correct. But it is also loud and can pinpoint location as well. You never know who's in the woods..... That is why you have to think before you act. -

Awesome. Takes me back 16 years as my oldest daughter was born on 1-20-00. Trust me enjoy every day as it goes by way too fast. I didn't feel old until my daughter started getting mailing from colleges.

Hunting stereotypes- Best thing I've seen in a while.

Now that was funny. I also like the video I saw on youtube about what hunting with women is like. -
It is going to be interesting to see how the Supreme Court changes. Today Justice Scalia was found dead in Texas. Huffington Post, USA Today, CNN.com all reporting. Apparently he died in his sleep. The next President of the United States will probably get to appoint three other Justices and this one if it gets past before the election and inauguration. Waiting to see what happens and I feel sorry for the family of Justice Scalia.

I have been bow hunting for 2 years now. With a rifle or ML I don't get excited until after the shot. Not so with a bow, a cow elk at 20 yards had me shaking worse than when I shot my first deer. I only wish I had started archery about 20 years ago but I was loving ML hunting so much. I will go back to rifle when I can't pull a bow anymore.

Cow Bison, How Much Freezer/Cooler Space Do I Need?

I swear I saw this truck going through Albuquerque. I was trying to give a big thumbs up out the window, I think the driver thinks I was a tree hugging bunny lover giving the middle finger to him. He sped up and since I was in my Hyundai I couldn't catch up. -
I misread the title. I accidentally put a R in dunk and was going to comment "I'M IN!"

Yep. My Mulies don't have eye guards they have brow tines. I even have one that only has one brow tine so he must be a hybrid as well, but I didn't find a battery in him.

I'm not sure this makes sense but say the application date for a hunt is March 1st and the hunt is Oct. 1st. If the child turns 10 before March 1 you can buy point only. If the child is 9 at the application deadline, March 1st but will be 10 before the hunt, Oct. 1 they can apply for the hunt but not just the point. If they are unsuccessful drawing then they have the point. If the child is 9 at the application deadline, March 1, but won't be 10 by the hunt deadline, Oct. 1, then they can't put in for the hunt or point. That is the way I see it, but I have been wrong before.

I would help if I could but every time I get a turkey tag, no turkeys. See them plenty when it is not season. I am just wondering if the snow over in unit 9 is going to melt before April.
-
Then I get to be the first double d-bag as my card has already been hit. That is how it works over here though, our draw doesn't close until March 23rd and sometime in mid-April I either get money back or get to print a tag. The nice thing is I know I will draw a deer tag and just have to wait on the elk results.

I have an Ameristep Doghouse blind and not what you are looking for. Woks great for rifles and ML but not big enough for bow hunting. You can't stand to shoot and sitting I am barely looking over the window so the top of my bow doesn't hit the roof.
-
If it a prized possession I would not shoot turkey loads through it. My sister has my great uncles L.C. Smith 20 ga. side by side with ejectors from around the same era (earlier just not sure on the date) so I can't read all the markings on it. The only time I used it turkey hunting was when we could buy a deer, bear, fall turkey license for $10.50. I just had number 5 shot in a regular 2 3/4" length. Why risk shooting it when you can buy a regular turkey shotgun for under $300? I can understand the sentiment of using it but you will have to decide if it is worth it.

Go Broncos! The only reason they won was the defense. Ware should have been MVP, but at least now Manning can retire. Time for Brock to step up. Yon Miller and ware reminded me of Carl Meclenberg (sp?) and Rulon Jones.

Anybody try to catch a three legged dog or cat? They can run just as fast so I can certainly see the loss of a leg not causing any problems for a wild animal.

No not a lineman. Just a regular electrician that does about 95% commercial and 5% residential. It seems like I live in the rafters, on roof tops, and in bucket trucks. I much prefer 480v 3 phase and conduit over 120v and romex.

It is just starting. Compassion Works International is having a rally here at the state capitol to "educate" the public about an activity the group calls brutal and immoral practice and to also protest the trapping of mountain lions in NM. The Santa Fe event is part of the Worldwide Rally for Cecil, an anti-trophy hunting campaign. This is going to get crazier than it is now.

See I told wolf F1295 and F1340 NOT to sign up for Obummer Care. One quick question from the news story: Is the f in front of the numbers suppose to be capitalized or not? If it is suppose to be F that means those were alpha females.
