Recycling cans and plastic bottles
Red Sparky replied to My Rights As An American's topic in The Campfire
Nope. Most of mine is #12 up to 600, small pieces from trimming out or old stuff pulling new. They take a copy of my DL anyhow. Anybody not legit takes it other places that don't have to show DL. -
Recycling cans and plastic bottles

Prices are way down. .50 for aluminum up here and copper is down so low I have about 500 pounds at my house and growing. -
From the NMG&F hunting booklet......Some have more time at work. Quality (Q) Hunt: These hunts are designed to increase opportunities for a successful harvest, achieve harvests from wider selections of mature deer or elk, and/or provide a pleasurable experience based on timing of the hunt and hunter density. Quality hunts are determined by the New Mexico State Game Commission High-Demand (HD) Hunt: An elk or deer draw hunt with at least 22% nonresident applicants for the previous two license years. Standard (S) Hunt: Deer or elk hunts which are charged a regular license fee rather than a Quality or High-Demand fee

Looking to Borrow a Garmin Rino Data Cable for a 120-130
Red Sparky replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
If not Addicted can borrow mine. I have a Rino 120 and the original cord. The cord is a round four pin that plugs into the GPS and the other end is a serial port. I bought the serial port to usb adapter but am not sure if I still have the driver disk for it. I think you can search the web and find the driver to download. -
As the draw goes NR can not hunt antler less elk unless you get an ES archery tag. You still pay the cost of a bull tag for a ES tag. Now you can buy a landowner tag and hunt antler less elk.

Looking to Borrow a Garmin Rino Data Cable for a 120-130

Send me a PM with address and I can get mine in the mail by Friday. The only thing is I may not have the drivers for the serial port to USB adapter I have. -
I see about 12 elk in that photo.

Check out American Wild Life Taxidermy on Central or drive down to Bosque Farms and check them out. I drive by the one in Bosque Farms every day but can't remember the name right now. Saw an elk mount they were delivering and it was impressive. I haven't had any taxi work done in year as I just euro mount mine.

Oh no! Now someone is going to pull up the old dude in the speedo right when I got the image out of my head.

That is why I don't use Windows. That and the fact it takes over my computer to do updates whether I want it to or not. I do have a Windows Partition for the GPS that won't work on the Mac OX System.

The bull I killed in Unit 9 by Mount Taylor was a ML hunt and they were rutting on Oct. 13th. They were bugling all night and the bull I killed was walking around a bedded cow screaming his head off.

If I had been there I would be happy to help.

Sleep in hunting clothes when backpack hunting?
Red Sparky replied to jp0212's topic in The Campfire
The best way to stay scent free is go on a vegan diet for a month before hunting season. Animals are not as alarmed by the smell of a veggiesaurus over a meatasaurus. Do some sagebrush sweat lodge cleanses. Wash your hair in purified water then slick it down with some deer tallow. Make sure to wash your clothes in scent free soap and then let line dry. Make sure you use the UV inhibitor soap as well. Then turn on your Ozonics and stay downwind. If I sleep in clothes I usually sleep colder than just my boxer briefs. -
I would say it is a yote. I clicked on the picture to get a bigger view and could not make out a collar and the ears and muzzle looked too pointy.

It looked totally awesome and clear. I could just about count every blade of grass. Could definitely see heat mirage on some images. As far as a comparison between 4K and 1080 I don't know as my wife upgraded my old 27" Zenith box TV to this big flat screen for Father's Day this year. She said I also get to buy an AR with 30 round mags before November so I think I need to keep her for another 28 years.

Great video. I streamed it through my 55" 4K tv instead of my mac.

You been down at the bar hoggin again? I haven't been going, I alread have 2 hogs on rotation at the moment. you want to go to denim later or what? Nah, my hoggin days are over. Im married and settled down. But feel free to forward some pics so I can live vicariously through you. Please don't. I still have images burned into my skull from other pics posted on here.

Find one that fits your palate. Sometimes you have to cut a bit of the call to get it to fit right. The one that works for me is Primos Sonic Dome Double. Before I used mouth calls I started with bite and blow calls, the hyper lip. Much easier to use unless you are in bow range.

Thats what they want you to think. Its actually Thor's hammer. No. I have Thor's Hammer in my closet after I kicked Loki out of Valhalla.

Haven't used one. If it were me I would buy a strong aluminum one that will handle the abuse of the baggage handlers. They are the ones you have to worry about. When my daughter went to Spain and Italy the only thing was the lock on her suitcase had to be TSA approved. Of course she didn't have a firearm with her in checked baggage.

From what I read that was the size of the VW when it entered the atmosphere and then went claymore to the size of peas and strawberries.

The thing I have heard is you put dry ice on the bottom to cool and on top to freeze. One suggestion I have if using regular cube ice you buy at the store buy it about 2 weeks before and put it in your freezer at home. My home freezer is 0 degrees but when you buy it at the store it is about 28-30 degrees. I also make block ice at the house. Last year I took one ice chest with about 16 2 qt frozen jugs, set it in the shade wrapped in a 0 degree sleeping bag and only opened it to put new blocks in the other ice chest. After 10 days I still had ice left over. Another suggestion is to pre-cool the ice chest and the stuff you are putting in the ice chest.

We have the same thing going over here in the Manzano mountains about 15-20 miles from my house. Started yesterday and went from about 8 acres to about 1000 in 8 hours. Tonight it is 11 and looks like the sun is coming up. Hopefully they can get it controlled soon. It is going to be a bad year for fires. No cause on this one yet but I would lay money on it being man caused.

Which "hunting show" you going to be on?
