Hi fellow hunters, looks like my son and brothers got lucky and pick up some tags. This going to be there first year hunting for themselves. I've been to the unit during January chasing rutting bucks myself. Looking for any info that could help me make this a successful hunt for all four of them. I know they have a junior camp for this hunt might be an option but looking for areas to explore that could hold a lot of deer to increase our chances. Have a close friend that was lucky enough to draw the tag with not much points. Going to be doing everything we can to prepare for this hunt. This is why im reaching out to this community in hopes that someone could share some information on unit and possible tactics to be successful. We will be taking several trips into the unit before the hunt to scout but any info your willing to share would be a great help. I know people like bashing for asking for information but i know there is other half of us hunters that help each other to be successful, so what that being said thanks in advance and happy hunting fellas.

Hi guys could you help me out? I just upgraded to swarovski 15x56 this year from 12x42 nikons. So I plan on buying another decent pair of 8x42 or 10x42 binos to carry around my neck. My ? Is which power 8 or 10 would be better to view 100-500yrd out... and which binoculars would be best looking at zeiss terra ed, vortex viper hd ect... price range would be 100-500$
