If you don’t see what you want keep covering ground. And when you find it ……when the hunt comes it’ll be gone. But at least you’ll have confidence in your system and abilities and keep covering ground

I wasn’t joking. Road hunting has a right and wrong technique to it.

Drinking beer in a $75000 lifted diesel truck with a $8000 custom rifle and $5000 BTX, mastering the stealthy “dude deer…..slow down I’ll jump out but keep going down the road” technique. heritage baby. Heritage. All in the name of conservation.

Good 10s and low end 15s? or Decent 15s and low end 10s?

I didn’t mean to sound too crass. Save more. Borrow from family. Go hunt. Good luck. -

Only a loser will drop their only grand on a bino upgrade. When you save up ten grand let’s talk. For now what you have is perfectly fine. Take 500 and invest it. Save 500 for emergency your biggest asset is your youth not your glass. Cover ground. Don’t try and keep up with the Jones. You can’t as a student. -
Reloading for longrange neck size or full size?
Green Bullet replied to Crazymonkey's topic in Long Range Shooting
Eventually you need to full size. Gets tough to feed the round. I full size always now. -
I’m against mandates. But the data is crystal clear the vaccines are beneficial but not a guarantee you don’t get COVID. But if you do get it the vaccine has shown to minimize fatal outcomes. what’s open for debate are the long term effects. Tough call and debatable. My view only, Is if your pushing 60 or older you should get it. If your 40 to 45 no. 45 to 59 case by case. Kind of a tossup. I’m 47 and got poked. I’m in reallY good shape and no illness. under 40 and healthy I can’t rightfully argue for it. Absolutely against giving to anyone younger aged (sub 30) what blows me away is folks I know are over 80 and not in great shape and they don’t want the vaccine. I’m like what long term side effect are you worried about getting? Kind of odd decision but yet again to each their own. The mandates are going nowhere fast. It’s all rhetoric and a distraction from the cluster xxxx in Afghanistan

I was in 4a two, weekends in a row. elk look really healthy. Last weekend ,minimal bugling. Better this weekend. Saw three solid day 1 shooters. Two pushing cows. It’s not full on by no means but looks like it’ll start earlier than usual saw a 340 ish which is solid for that unit.

Will that fit other tripods? -
3 days ago, Like a dipstick I set my pack and glass down and didn't walk more than 40 yards and wasn't able to relocate my stuff. I walked that area and then some in grids, circles, etc and couldn't find my for the life of me. I was in unit 12a east, took the 224 road down to the game trail road (220) and went south on the 220 right where it changes from burn to pine trees and junipers. I lost it at the top of a ridge glassing the northern facing side of a canyon. The area I was glassing from was burned. Maybe someone stole it right from under my nose but I'm hoping it's still up there and you late rifle hunters will find it. I can describe the bag, glass, and contents. Will make it worth your while if you return it to me as it had my core hunting stuff. Thanks. Miles

Cimarron 10x10x10 Masters Golf Net with Frame and High End Hitting Mat
Green Bullet posted a topic in Classified Ads
I bought this set during COVID, set it up, used it 5 times. Perfect condition. Retail for the net and frame is $650. The hitting mat I purchased was >$500. Works really well. Easy to setup and take down. Reason for sale is I needed to use the space I set it up at for another purpose and I don't have a good spot for it any more. I would imagine the set could double as a batting cage for youths. The netting is very robust (it can take a golf ball off a driver no problem). Located in Queen Creek. See link below for pictures. $450 obo https://playground.epicsports.com/prod/168390/cimarron-10x10x10-masters-golf-net-with-complete-frame.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwlMaGBhD3ARIsAPvWd6jpQD2IcYJdnx5KpilVjUwJAD2i2tzcn6U6WlEKnElePsVfRg6RKj0aAmZaEALw_wcB -
