I heard there were 7000 crossbow permits approved last year for otc. It was 1-2 orders of magnitude lower the previous year. I’m all for equal opportunity but there should be a limit or draw on those. Too much abuse in the system. an old guy with bad legs can’t use rifle during the bull hunt because he/she can’t stalk or chase ‘‘em like they used to. He has to hunt rifle or muzzy.

Looking for recommendations on a good outfitter tent with a stove. Sold my trailer in lieu of a place up north but still need something cozy for hunting trips. I’m thinking 14x16 or so. davis looks solid. Any other thoughts? I want to do a floor to keep critters out. What are you guys running floor wise? Some are saying it’s not the way to go thx

I was wondering about the sod cloth. Do you fold it inside and put dirt on it or is it heavy enough on its own to keep snakes and varmints out.

Do you guys worry about snakes spiders etc getting in under the tent? I am thinking sewn in floor but it’s more cumbersome to setup I am reading…

The full moon sucked. We hunted the west side. I thought the experience was awful. So much pressure and road hunters and hunters in general everywhere. I’ve usually hunted the east side. Less deer but less hunters too. It’s more intimate and less of a rat race. im going to shift gears and move away from the Kaibab. The late hunts are probably better with less tags but 375 guys racing around with multiple trucks on a ridge sucks.

Anderson weight distribution hitch included. Centralized AC and heat. Heat can run on battery and propane. Ac requires power or generators. Fridge can run on propane or power. Water heater runs on power or propane. One slide out works perfect. Really opens up the floor plan. Awning is perfect no rips or tears. Trailer has been parked in pristine covered parking since day 1. I actually pay for two spots so it stays in shade 24x7.
