With the weather being nice and me not working this week I decide to take the family to go do some dog training. My wife and daughter also happened to fall in love with another puppy. I had to say no. 2 dogs are enough for now. Blake did well and showed a little style.

I have dogs from Arlette and yes she has several. I go train out there with them. Her and Steve help me with my dog training. When I’m ready for another dog, I will get one from her for sure.

https://desertretrievers.com/ I’d look into this breeder. If I were to buy a lab I’d go this route. They have good pedigrees. There is also another breeder out there that does pointing labs.

I don’t need to know anything about GSP pups to know that it is wrong to make negative comments about someone else’s litter on a public forum. Whether they docked them at 30%, 40%, or 50% it none of your business. Hope all the pups sold! sorry for the mini hijack

When you have a litter of pups you can dock their tails as long as you like. I’m sure these turned out just fine.

280 rem with a Remington 721 action. 26” aftermarket barrel with a magnum type contour added hinged floor plate which the 721s don’t have wood is nice, trigger is light but has some creep. Scope: Meopta Meopro 3.5-10 Only reason I’m considering selling is because I really don’t use it. Will come with dies Asking $700 will consider trading for a shotgun

Because I spend more time running dogs on quail these days.

Sorry, I don’t know the brand of barrel.

I have seen baby quail of all ages here. Back in May we found some winged walnuts running around, then earlier this week we found some couple day old chicks running around. Should be a good season. Mearns season may be a little different. The lack or delay of monsoon season is going to affect their hatch. Hopefully the monsoons start up soon.
