If any of you are still undecided on whether or not to get one of these new Covert cameras from Amanda then maybe these pictures will help you decide. I set the camera up on a tank and man did I hit the jackpot!! This tank is getting hammered by Coues deer. I got almost 200 pictures in less than a week and would have gotten more if a bear hadn't knocked my camera around. I give my full endorsement to these cameras. A cute little Mearns. From looking at the stocky body and short face, I think this is an older buck. These next pictures really turned out nice!!! He just couldn't leave the camera alone. Have Amanda set you up with a couple, you'll be glad you did.

Like Doug said, I've been using the 30's almost exclusively for several years and absolutely love them. I have changed my style of hunting somewhat to accomodate the magnification. Such as getting as high as possible with as much country to see as possible. I rarely use the 15's these days.

I've only replaced the batteries in one camera and that was like Amanda said, I had it set on video and the deer were coming in at night. The other camera still shows 3/4 life in them. Bottom line is the batteries last a long time.

Great photos Doug!!!

Contact Amanda and she can fix you up.

Wow, I should be so lucky to stumble upon something like that.

I just got the Covert II double pac from Amanda. This pic came from a waterer I put out just below my well. This is from tank near my house. Not much to look at but it will get better...I promise

My son set the camera up to video. We set it up on the waterer I built just below my well about 300 yards from the house. In 2 days we had a over 20 videos of deer and coyotes. Here's one of them. Muleys on the waterer

I also use the one that Amanda sells here. They are designed by Jaret Owens. I have one of his originals that I've had since the early 90's. It's very functional. I use it for my 10x40 Zeiss.

Yep, it's a chipmunk. Chewed my strap to doll rags. I plan on putting one up where that monster lives in the very near future, Amanda. I went up today and pulled that camera on the tank and moved it to a new location. I'll give it a couple of weeks and then check it. I did see a nice buck that still carried his rack. Here's the latest pics from that trail camera.

Yea that's the one. The Grammers managed it for Bob Fletcher. I'm not sure who is running it now but Bob still owns or at least he did as of about 8 months ago. The Grammers are retired and spend their summers at their place on Beaver Creek near the old Beaverhead lodge, and thier winters in Tennesse.

This is a great hunt!! Both my sons drew this hunt are beside themselves with excitement. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the photos Danny! Hope things are going well at Tenke. Tell my neighbor Jeff Goodman I said hello and that I'm keeping an eye out on his place for him.

I love it out there on my day's off. Heck even coming to work Sunday morning I saw a bobcat. This morning I saw a fox. It's a dream come true. Scotty, that little Boston is one cool dog, farts all the time though. He has enough gas to fill a Hindenburg!! Love hime anyway.

Oh man that's too funny!!!! I'm afraid he's gonna think the live ones are as easy to tackle as the dead ones and find out the hard way, that they are not.
-
Come on out. Any of y'all are welcome out at the house. We love it out here!!!

I'll tell you what Chef, he thinks he's a pit pull. He has no fear even tackling a 2500 pound Black Angus bull.

I took these pictures last week from the font of the house.

Yea Bryan as a matter of fact it is and it does. That's Helll's Hole Peak on the right and the big bluffs toward the center is the Palace. That's looking south/southeast from the front of the house. You need to come down for a visit and a hunt. We have plenty of room and plenty of game.

Holy Smoke guys, I didn't know you liked that stuff so well. I also enjoy Scottyboys posts and some of the others. I haven't gotten back into it like I was a few years ago, you know different priorities and all that. Amanda does her best to keep me redirected toward the Coues hills. But I appreciate the thoughtful words and who knows maybe I'll get back into doing some of those types of posts again.

Nice photos Doug. I like them. May have to make a trip up to Grand Falls, that's nice.

Doug, uh...you mean you're supposed to have all that stuff???? No I don't rent ATV's out I have 3 of them and if we need more we usually borrow them from friends or family. Glad you guys liked the post.

As the boys were riding out from their fishing trip earlier in the week, they broke the frame on one of our ATV's and had to leave it behind. Immediately our ATV Extraction Team was called into action for an emergency ATV Recovery Mission. The view riding in is of course spectacular. Here we are stopped to look at a Bighorn Sheep on cliffs in front of us. The sheep is the white spot in the center of the picture. This is Justin Oliver, an elite member of our ATV Extraction Team, on our ATV Extraction Vehicle. We had a few situations where we had to use some highly technical skills to get through some of the more muddy areas. (My son Austin and Justin Oliver) Unfortunately our ATV Extraction Trailer broke down, and we had to go back in the next day to finish the job. Here we stopped at the local grocery store for some supplies before heading down to the creek. Some sheep we ran into on the way in. (Not currently members of the ATV Extraction Team) More members of the Elite ATV Extraction Team after the ATV Extraction Trailer was repaired. (Me, my sons, Austin and James Ryan, and my father-in-law, Richard) More beautiful scenery on the ride out. (Note James Ryan standing/riding on the disabled ATV acting as our official ATV Extraction Team Counter Balance) Back at the truck, loaded and ready to head home. All 4 ATV's including the ATV Extraction Trailer loaded on. Remember: For all your ATV Extraction needs contact our ATV Extraction Team at 1-800-BrokeATV. Hope you enjoyed it.

Yea we were down on Eagle Creek this week. We didn't drive trucks down though, we took the atv's. The boys did pretty well. Here they are poking a stick trying to roust out a beaver. Parked at fishing hole. A cactus in bloom, precariously perched on a ledge above the creek. A couple of the boys were on little 2-wheel drive atv and had a lot of fun popping wheelies. Here are some of the fish they caught.
