Gavin and the guys at Wellers are exceptional!

Number one thing you will hear is buy the best optics you can afford, put them on a tripod and glass basically until your eyes fall out. It takes a lot of patience but it is the most common and effective way to hunt here. As far as units, I would stick to a unit close to home and take some time to get out and hike/scout it this summer and early fall. The closer to home the easier it will be to get to know it. Hope this helps

Congrats Michael! That buck is unreal! Your hard work shows through the animals you harvest! One of these days we will have to put our bucks side by side!

Good way to end the night at 65 yards

Thought I would share some of my success over the last few trips out.

I have a glendel full rut buck and it has been great for the last 3 years. Easy arrow removal and stops arrows really well. Like heat I do my best to keep it out of the elements which makes a HUGE difference in a targets life span!

Alright here is a shed that was found down south in an area with good numbers of both mule deer and coues deer. Let's hear it!

Nobody else?!? I'll keep it alive. Here is a 70 yard group.

Stud buck! Love the flyer off his left side! Congrats!!!! Any word on what he scores?
-
For those interested the shed tapes between 50-55"

Absolutely love the way the Nitrum series shoots! Nitrum 34 28.5" draw at 70# flinging a 430ish grain easton injexion plenty fast!

And I am in Love!! I can not believe I didn't make the switch from a trigger release to a back tension style release earlier! I went with the carter honey 2 since it has a safety and it is a fantastic release to learn a to shoot a hinge/back tension style release on. If you are on the edge of switching, do it.

I was and still will shoot the Scott silver horn for hunting. The main reason I switched is because I have developed a small case of target panic. Since playing with the hinge for only 2 days I can already see a great amount of improvement! I plan to use the hinge for 3D and the off season to help cure my target panic but also continue to shoot the silver horn and hunt with it.

Like the others he is around 4.5 in my book and is mid 90s. Nice buck for sure!

What a joke! Easily one of the worst if not the worst play call I have ever seen!
