    Bino Harness for swaro 15x56

I have a Kuiu and alaskan guide and they are both nice. If you bow hunt the alaskan is hard to get your 15 s in out silently with one hand on a stalk. If your rifle hunting, scouting or driving a ranger in dusty conditions they are great and provide great protection. I bow hunt mostly and prefer the Kuiu they fit good and you can get them in and out much easier. Both are really comfortable.

    spotting scope dilemma!

I agree check out the Zeiss. Bought a pair for my wife they are awesome and really close to my swaro 15hd. There customer service is awesome as well. My dad had a pair of 15x45 Zeiss he just kept in his bass boat for nature viewing and needless to say they took pounding in his rod locker and nocked some glass loose. They replaced free of charge. I also bought a used diascope that had a small piece of debris in it they sent me new one free of charge. It takes 2 months but the customer service representative said she would overnight me a loaner eyepiece until my repair was complete. Not just vortex but all companies have awesome customer service. I would recommend trying different pairs of 15s to make sure they for your face. The vortex eyepiece didn't fit me to good.

  11. I am thinking of saving for el range. Having 2 devices in one seems smart. I bow hunt more than rifle hunt and being left handed the el s have the button on the left side which could possibly make for one hand use. The slc is light and glass is great. It seems like the Leica rangefinder is awesome and would save money with that combo. Thoughts?

Super clean optics purchased last December. I have boxes and all accessories for each including tripod adaptor. I will also include bino chest pack that fits 8x30. Package deal only. Located in Flagstaff. $2200 SLC neu sorry about the title.

Expensive optics - anyone have buyers regret???

The only regret is wondering why I waited so long. I lost more money thinking these are just as good or there is not big difference slowly upgrading and buying and selling. Save up and buy the high end bino that fits your hunting style and you will see more and have no regrets.

Swarovski EL 12x50 Swarovision and SLC 15X56 WB

I just compared both yesterday and wow. Both bino are amazing. I was glassing up at the top of mt elden and was able to see 6 mule deer at the top 1.5 mile plus away. I spotted them so easy with the 15 s. They were definitely visible with the 12 s but at super long distances I felt like the 15 s were better and think I will be getting them. You cant loose either way though. I will sacrifice the weight to see such great detail at long distance.

I have had mine a year and agree with Patrick Jr 100 percent. Just a great pack.

    15x56 binocs vs spotting scope?

15s for sure. You will use them 90 percent of the time and find more animals.

Swarovski EL 12x50 Swarovision and SLC 15X56 WB

With the new 15s just coming last year I think it would a while before we see any significant changes to them. I could see swarovski big eyes coming out soon possibly to compete with the highlanders. Have seen some guys make some creative ones on here.

Swarovski EL 12x50 Swarovision and SLC 15X56 WB

All good information. I have 8s and 15s and am thinking really hard about trading them for some 12s. I like to carry a spotter most all of the time and the weight savings would be nice. It seems mixed on using off hand some guys say its not bad while others say to shaky. How do you 12 guys carry them. Are they to heavy for suspenders

    Expired

I use outdoorsmans pack. Just got the muley fanny pack for X-mas which can be used with or without the frame. I feel like this system works good for different tactics. Spot n stalk, run and gun, meat hauler, back country plus great local customer customer service.

Zeiss conquest hd 15's vs swarovski hd 15

I have the old slc and just got my wife a pair of Zeiss 15. They are pretty close. Side by side I feel that the Zeiss are slighty better in low light and the color rendition seems better. I think the slc are sharper at long distances. These are comparisons are so slight it took me sometime comparing them side by side to see the differences. I don't like the Zeiss eye cups they are to stiff and come un screwed sometimes when adjust them. Tripod adaptor is junk also its made of cheap potty metal that flexes so plan on getting am outdoorsmans adapter. Lens covers are also cheesy but the glass is still great and my wife loves them. I still prefer the slc. I would love to try out the new hds.

Anyone used Doe Decoys for Archery?

I got one for my wife to help her close the distance from 100 to under 50 yards. Got the bow mount with it also. As soon as I got we hit the woods. Within 5 minutes we saw 2 small bucks with 3 does. My wife got to 36 yards with it attached to bow walking slowly towards them. When she drew back the decoy spun around and the does spooked a little and then 2 quads came right down the road and gameover. I should have showed her how to lock it in not complicated but my wife needs a little extra time to see how things work. The decoy did seem to work though.it will be in my pack this December.
