4 pages and no pics, . This is an obvious marketing ploy on Mullin's Outfitter's part. Pretty brilliant actually; Get a buzz going before you ever release the goods. Kinda like that whole X-box thing. Get everyone all lathered up and then surprise - you can't get your hands on one. Just read about other people who have. Phone pics aren't cutting it anymore Jimmy, you big tease.

Time for a name change!

I voted Coues whisperer, but I like bobbyo's idea of "Serial Coues Killer". That's freaking tough. Get that tatted on your forearm or something??? TOUGH. -
Which is best? Leica, Swar. or Zeiss need HELP!!!
Coues Sniper replied to wbyfireman's topic in Optics and tripods
agreed This topic has been debated to death on this site many times. All the brands you mentioned are great. My advice is the Swarovski. They are flat out the best in my opinion, and they are far and away the best with warranty work. Not that you'll need it unless you knock your tripod over several times and scratch your lenses... in which case they will fix them and next day them to you for free. No matter how many times you've done that. Do a search and you'll find all the advice and banter you can handle. -
Ouch....geezz....CALL your DAD Jimbo!! Amanda It's sad how fast success goes to your head and your forget who taught you everything you know...

Help name my new hunting buddy!
Coues Sniper posted a topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Hey everybody, check out the new hunting buddy the wife got me for the B-day! I've always wanted a Weimaraner, and a friend of ours found a good deal from a reputable breeder so she jumped on it. He's awesome. Only problem is, what to name him. She wanted to name him Remington, and call him Remy for short. I'm not set with that yet. We were also thinking "Boone", and of course "Coues". Anyone got any other ideas? Thanks for the help! Kevin -
The funny thing is, a farmer acquired a depredation tag to kill the bull as it was coming into his fields to feed. The Utah Fish Cops found out about it and were kind of disappointed as this was such a huge bull. Word then got to the Governor's Tag holder and he stepped in a paid the rancher a small fortune not to kill the bull. But, and this is the best part, the bid tag hunter can't hunt until September 1, and archery season starts August 16th . That scene from "300" keeps popping into my mind... "our arrows will block out the sun"

For the time being. There is some private land up there, but I don't think that is where he will end up here in a couple weeks when he moves off his summer range. By the way, this bull was about 360 gross last year. He's put on an estimated 80"-90" in a single year. I hope and pray he makes it another year or two, but not likely. Too many people know about him, and some of them will resort to anything to get him killed.

Problem is, half of Utah knows about this bull. There have already been fist fights, slashed tires, and broken out windows from people fighting over this bull. 32 trucks on one ridge all at the same time waiting for him to come out. As beautiful a bull as he is, that mountain is a frickin' mess and the situation is going to get even uglier before season.

THAT is cool. Congrats on a hunt you'll remember for a long time.

Happy Birthday man! How old are you now? -
I have a Fuse on my Guardian, but it's overkill. It's the sidekick that sticks off the side to help balance the quiver. It's nice, but pricey and overkill. I hear many people like the "wildthing" from Bowtech. That S-coil is a great stab for hunting too.

Sweet pictures! That one of his teeth was cool. Thanks for sharing.

Well, it's good to know that Boone isn't the only knucklehead to have eaten a pile of rocks, and that it probably won't hurt him. You'd never know it to look at him, but he had at least 2 handfuls of gravel in his gut yesterday . I mean there was about 80% rocks and 20% other stuff in his doodie - easy. The only thing i can think of is every once in in a while () I'll shoot any pigeons that may be on my roof. Most of the time they are DRT and don't fall off the roof, and may take a couple days or more for the wind to blow them off. By the time they hit the ground they can get pretty ripe and leave a little "remnants" if you will on the gravel after i pick the bird up. My best guess is he found a spot where there was a little extra flavor and ate it up. Or he's just an idiot and likes the way gravel tastes. One of the two. -

Eric, I really like that name. But Boone is starting to stick I think. The wife fought it for a while, but she finally started calling him that the other day On a different note, has anyone had a problem with their pup eating gravel? Sounds crazy I know, but the dang thing ate some of the gravel from the back yard. And not just a little bit either. I'm talking HANDFULS. I was pretty nervous when i saw that he had a few rocks in his "business", but he seemed fine so i just kept an eye on him. Well I found a couple piles that were mostly gravel, and flipped out. He seemed happy as could be so again I just watched him and the rocks seemed to have all passed as there aren't any more coming out. He seems fine and i'm taking him to the vet anyways, just wondered if anyone had the same problem... -
Touché my good man, touché . Those sheds truly are what dreams are made of. The Coues sheds are pretty scarce here around Vegas, so if you want any help trying to get the matches away from those pesky squirrels, I'm available - anytime.

I'd say you're lucky to still have your camera. -
Josh, sometimes you post huge sheds and I'm like "dang. I think I kinda hate this guy. " Well after seeing these sheds, it's official - I'm sick with jealousy and completely hate your guts. UNREAL.
