Nice work dude! Great story too! 5 hours?? Talk about patience
-
That's a dandy, congrats

I'm an admitted Bowtech shooter, but this peaked my interest. Notice below the 340 there is a solocam, and beneath the 360 there is only a pair of eyes. Any of you Mathews faithful care to fill me in? Could they have moved past the solocam?
-
They are like a magic wand my friend.
-
Did you notice the Monster XLR8 has a brace height of only 5"??? No wonder they got 360 out of it. Thanks but no thanks.
-
I consider a big nasty hole a plus with bullets... well, not on bobcats. But on deer and elk, yes.
-
Which makes a total of one in that picture What happened to "use hunting bullets for hunting, and target bullets for punching paper!!!" ??? Have you seen the light Case?

coues deer

That. Is. A Gagger. -
Agreed. Next good pelt I get I want to do a mount like this... Man that's freaking cool. Just 'cause some other yahoos glorify it doesn't mean you have to. Some guys glorify the killing of deer rather than the hunt. But you aren't going to stop Coues hunting are ya?

That's impossible Sweet video. I like that big (almost) 2 point. -
Grip schmip. That problem is fixed fairly easily . Mathews makes a pretty darn good bow. I don't think they would take that much crap for using something other than the Solocam. Heck, I'd be proud of 'em. It'd be about time they did something radical... to keep up

Neat shed. Definitely some good genetics there. Hang on to that spot

Looks like a dandy . Any more pics?

If the problem is a moral one, i.e. you can't eat them, then why would pelt value matter? To answer your question, yes coyote pelts do have some value. You won't make money, but it's enough for gas and maybe a few cold ones if you're proficient at it . Bobcats can bring much more $, especially up in higher elevations with higher quality pelts. And many people eat mountain lion, and say it's quite good. Never tried it personally. Coyotes and lions play more havoc than you think on Coues. Plus it's great practice for deer season, it's a blast with a lot of action, and a good reason to get out and hunt with some buddies. And if it still bothers you, coyote meat wouldn't kill a person

We found a gun on our Mulie hunt
Coues Sniper replied to More D's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Mule deer are bigger(yep), they have more meat (yep). bigger horns (yep), and they are just way more challenging (uhhh, no) and delicious ( ) than all these doggie sized Coues Deer that everyone seems to get so excited about. 3 out of 5, 60% . Congrats you get a "D-"
