Tyson, While I am definitely no expert, I am an official measurer for SCI (don't have the juice to be a BC measurer - yet ), and I would classify that buck as typical. The reason being IMO is that although the 3's do come off along a different line than the rest of the tines, they still come off the top off the beam and are therefore, in my estimation, typical points. If they came off the side and began any direction but up, I would tend to agree with you. So while those tines are a bit goofy and not inline with the 2's (the 4 on the left looks to be inline with the 3 on that side however) I wouldn't classify them as non typ. Better pics might help, and I also hope Amanda comes on and gives her opinion as she has more experience than me, but that's the way I see it. Kevin

I agree with the above. Go 208 amax or 210 Berger; you'll get muh better all around performance out of those large calibers. -
Especially since I live in Vegas

The Swaro cover is more than a glorified sock, it's a nice tough cover and works really well. $200 is overpriced for sure, but it's the best case out there. I don't have any experience with the Cabelas one, but it looks nice and you can't beat the price. Wish they (Swaro or Cabelas) had something similar for the 15's!!! -
Great bull, in some awesome country. I like the big Devils' point on his left. Congrats

Sorry, I must have missed the original thread. I made some assumptions based on the Caliber; Sean Carlock kicks out a ton of those . Big fan of that cartridge, if it were legal to bring down to Mexico I'd probably have one. Congrats again on the rig, your work looks great.
-
SWEET rig. Did Carlock build that for you? Looks like an APS brake as well, how do you like it? Jealous of the setup man, and close to .5 MOA at 500 yards isn't too bad, for the conditions . Good luck with her, and keep us posted.

Nice work James. Looks like ol Jager is coming along pretty well. Maybe I'll get an invite one day - seeing as how I named the dog and all... . Could pay off when I help out on your sheep hunt -

Nice bull, I'd say 365ish. Great footage, what kind of camera?
