Gonna dissagree with Casey here. I've seen deer put on crazy amounts of antler in a year, and this year has been a great one for horn growth. Who knows for sure, just saying I think it's possible. Plus, it's fun to dissagree with Casey . Really cool buck man, congrats.

It's all about increasing tags and decreasing success rates to kill the same amount of deer, and make more $. Plain and simple.

I like big 2 points and 3 points like that. That's a neat buck, but it'd be nice to see what he grows up to - if you let him My cousin saw a giant 2x3 on a hunt this year in NV that they guessed in the 170's. AS A 2x3!! He doesn't like telling anyone since nobody believes him anyways. I love stuff like that.

I agree. I like to season with just a bit of salt and pepper and grill. Less is more to me with a nice piece of meat like that. Just enjoy that natural flavor

It all depends on the velocity. Close in shots, say 400 or less, not an issue. Once that bullet speed is in the lows 2000's that expansion becomes a problem and I'd start to worry.
