I've been researching quivers a ton lately and think I'm going to try the Tightspot. I have yet to see one person say a bad thing about them. The quick release is a plus.

Interesting choice! I've actually been living in Seattle for the last 7 months or so for work. I don't like it much. Definitely wouldn't want to live here permanently. The people are just goofy. And while there is mule deer, whitetail, and elk here, WA isn't really known for trophy hunting. The eastern part of the state has some nice carp but that's about it. The areas around Seattle don't offer much for size or glassing either if that's they way you like to hunt (I do). The weather isn't as bad as people say - it only rains about 36" a year. It usually doesn't rain hard, it just drizzles alot. Kansas would be more attractive to me. Trophy Whitetail and Carp, away from the granola eating hippies up here (sorry, but they actually have 3 seperate trash cans in the stores up here - garbage, recycling, and compost. REALLY?), and lets not forget Colorado and Iowa both border KS. HUGE hunting opportunities there. Course, Kansas isn't really much for topography which could get boring. Just Google Mt. Sunflower to see what I mean. Private land could be an issue, but that can always turn into a positive too if you make the right friends. I'm a trophy hunting guy, and if it were based solely on hunting opportunities, I'd go Kansas.

Kelvin Jacket SOLD!!!

PM box full? Is the Kelvin jacket supposed to be worn under the Jetstream jacket? When Coues Fly, The Kelvin is meant to be worn under an outer "shell" jacket as part of a system. The Jeststream is just one of the handful of different shell jackets that Sitka makes. It's cut though to be able to go under most any jacket, so you dont necessarily have to have another Sitka jacket. It's a great insulating layer and packs small to be carried in your pack. Another guy and I agreed on a price but I haven't heard back from him since last night. If it falls through I'll keep you posted if you're interested. Oh, and I cleaned out my inbox so I can get messages

+10000 Can't anybody read??? It was a group hunt and the group is canceling....that is why there are openings. And 6 openings a year would mean about 3 to 5 deer killed if you care what you're shooting. Not sure why everyone is poo pooing this deal. If you don't have anything nice to say...

Have you guys priced Carp hunts down there recently? This range is not uncommon. Good luck with sale - some added pics might help you out... Plus I'd just like to see 'em.
