I would obsess over that bull as well. Got any full size pics you could share? I had pics and video of the buck in my avatar from october the year I killed him (killed him in December), and that prodcued a bit of an obsession. Lets just say there were some wives who were sick of hearing about "that dam deer" and wanted him dead as much as I did

Hey man, I wish you luck. Not sayin, just sayin.

I'm wondering how you could possibly make binoculars that could rival Swarovski, Leica, etc. No offense intended, but it seems absurd that you could turn out a similar quality optic by building essentially a home-brew bino. The materials, equipment, and experience those companies have are immense and their binoculars sell for thousands of dollars a pair. Even companies that make and sell lesser quality optics have a huge advantage over you. Am I missing something here?

Dude, you are on a roll. The best part of that hunt to me is that your wife spotted that buck, hands down. That's cool stuff man. Good for you getting her involved. Although I have to admit, I did laugh a bit when she put that shell in backwards . Not that my wife wouldn't do the same. And nice work on sneaking some Wu Tang in there. Congrats on a nice buck, and a special hunt.

No black and white answer here. Just always testing your limits, trying to become a better shooter and extend your max range. Bench practice is great, but it doesn't compare to actual field practice. Picking out rocks, going through your routine, reading wind, getting in field positions, and lettin the lead fly.
