I'm a sucker for big 2 points, but I would have rather killed him than the buck your buddy shot at. That frame on him was awesome, and still in velvet? I have a goal of killing a 2 point Coues over 100" before I die. Killed a nice one last year that was low 90's busted up. Knew he wasn't going to make 100, but like I said: sucker for big 2's and he was a last day buck. Keep the videos coming.

Well done on the video man, that was sweet. Loved the excitement on the coyote, and the music was great. And that giant 2 point in velvet would have eaten lead from me, that buck was dope-tastic.

I'm sure they've fallen to less, but a GREAT elk bullet it's not
-
I wouldn't call 100 grain ANYTHING a "great" elk bullet. Coues yes, gotta disagree with you on elk.
-
Sweet buck - looks like he has some cool extras on his bases. Post close ups. Congrats

Any pics of the buck in your avatar

That first buck is awesome. Would love to see some years on him. -
Good one!

They've been at it for a while now. Longer than 5 years.

NICE!!! Atta boy Casey! That is awesome, huge congrats again!!! You are in for an unbelievable experience. My wife and I have a 20 month old boy and are expecting our second child in may. You can hear it a hundred times but you'll never be prepared for how awesome it really is.

I fixed your quote for you. G&F has been doing anything possible to lower ANY hunting success rates. Archery or otherwise. More tags means more $$$, and the only way to sell more tags is with lower success rates. Bottom line.

Now THAT is cool. Huge congrats Casey. When will the youngin's start appearing?
-
Works for me also. I'll probably just pay you to mail to me if that works. Thanks D.

I'm interested as well. PM coming.

Good luck. Never looked hard myself, but have had enough guys tell me they don't exist to keep me from trying.

I'd guess his school pack is pretty light -sounds like he ate his books...
-
Big enough. Wide buck ain't bad either.
-
Jim, have you guys been able to keep tabs on that big freak bull? Loved that bull.

JKF Outfitters-Cabelas Out West AZ Elk Episode
Coues Sniper replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Great video. I was wincing when the older guy was drawing back and had that death grip. Gorgeous bull - shoulda had the 13 year old in that blind. She was lights out! It was great to see how happy everyone was with that bull. GREAT accomplishment for that young lady. -
I should have added, I used mine on the 15's. Worked great for me.

Some people like them, some not so much. Where they really shine in my opinion is if you are packing in and are trying to save some weight. I carried one on a couple pack in trips and actually prefered it over my compact Leupold spotting scope that I bought just for pack trips. It was much clearer and I could see more detail with it than the spotter - I ended up leaving the spotting scope in camp and carrying the doubler. AND, I just so happen to have mine for sale if you want to save a few bucks. It's in perfect condition, I have the warranty card which has not been filled out, etc. pictures can be found here: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/35142-optics-sale-swarovski-10x42-els-leica-1200-rf-and-more/ Only reason I am selling is to fund a pair of Swaro EL Ranges. It's the third item in that post, everything else has sold.

Swaro. No question.
