So the question I have is mainly concerning bowhunting near things like Forest Service buildings. I see signs that say no shooting withing 1/4 mile, but if you read it in spanish it says no discharge of firearms. Just curious if there was another rule regarding archery. Thanks

I understand that for sure. It's not a residence, but sometimes you don't know where game are going to go. Thank you for your input The F&G book also says that any building may be presumed occupied. The FS only has the 1/4 mile restriction posted. Definitely further than a 1/4 mile from a paved road. Thanks OS, you've been more than helpful to me in the past

Elevation above 5400 I had two bucks going at it with sparring and grooming, putting a rub on a tree, and chasing does.

I read the regs and cannot seem to find out when the non-permit tags go on sale for 2016. Does anyone have that info? Thanks

This sounds like a great deal... This forum is great with people willing to help. A horse hunt would be great experience!!!

Absolutely, I usually had my kids with me on the FSR in the truck so not really a feasible option. I will do some proper scouting soon. Not afraid to get in the dirt and use the leather personnel carriers.

That makes sense... Most of the rules and regs are convoluted here. I'm trying to wrap my head around some of them and draw dates..... -
Transplanted to Arizona...Introduction if you will

Hi guys and gals, I am a recent transplant to Arizona. Hunted before out east, never here in AZ. Getting a new bow next month and applied for spring turkey. Going to apply for Elk in the spring and highly doubt it will pan out, but who knows. I have been looking at unit 27 and applied for Turkey there and hope to scout and spot some Elk. Does anyone have any info on the Ft Huachuca and Camp Navajo areas? I do have access and if anyone has hunted either basic information will work. I have ridden the FSR in 33 and 34A and seen a few Mule Deer. I guess that sums up the choppy introduction... Thanks Dave -
