Hard to believe season is just around the corner...so what's everyone's goals this year? maybe get your 1st coues or maybe shoot one behind the shoulder at 500 yards, put the new gear to the test or maybe just to shoot a mature buck. I'm going with the "bigger buck then last year" goal. It seems to work good for me, and keeps me working hard. Anyone else out trying to put some more bone on there wall (pik of the bucks we killed last year)

Just got home from a weekend scouting/ Archery bear hunt in my unit , I was just down 3 weeks ago, I hadm on my game cams and even had a cool encounter with a momma bear and her cubs I showed up to my canyon and poof... there gone lol no sighn.. on the plus side of things the grass is 5 feet tall in some areas and bucks looked good lots of does .. I'm hoping the bears show back up in about a month for rifle season

Been jumping units every year and seems to be working for me drew another cold tag.. should be good, im Back in an old unit me and dad hunted as a kid .. I'm pretty excited I hope it's a cold winter.. good luck guys

Few years back you could put In all trophy/December tags knowing you'd be alright with a leftover .. and it was a good way to build points, but last couple years they have gone quick.. I got two buddies did just that thinking they'd get leftovers only to end up tagless..I do think they went much faster then years past, but I could be wrong. Coues seem to be pretty popular all the sudden
