Here it is boys and girls, the coues slayer!

I'm going to be selling my beloved .270 as soon as I can find time to take the scope off of it and perhaps run a cleaning rag over it. Oops, I forgot to list the price, $300.00

For those of you who are interested it looks exactly like the one Ernesto C. posted. Iwill post pics as soon as I can.

Just send me your address Ernesto and I'll ship it to ya!

Glass with glasses, spot with a spotter. In order to glass effectively you must be comfortable from your seat to your eyes. the longer you can sit still with your eyes burried in the glass the more deer you'll find. You'll probably find more deer if you buy a pair of 10x binos for early morning and late evening. Then bust out your 20's for finding bedded deer.

I was thinking the same thing. A wide buck or bull will always appear to be much larger than he is as was the case with this 93''er. But bottom line is IF YOU LIKE HIM, TAKE HIM! I see to many guys wrapped up in score, recordbooks, and neither one of those should deside if you take him or let him walk. Most guys can't even field score an animal as good as they think they can. Sorry to go off like this but as a guide and as a guy who used to be guilty of the same thing it is frustrating when a client shows up and says he wants a 110+ and he's never even killed or seen a coues. I've been hunting coues for 11 years now and can count on 1 hand how many 110's I've seen. I only say these things because I want you guys to find real joy on your hunts. I still hold out for big bucks till the last minute but that doesn't mean 110. I love my 93. This was not at all directed at you firstcoueswas80, nice buck by the way, I just have to much time on my hands this morning. -
I have a friend who owns his own taxidermy business. I've had conversations with him about why he doesn't get an apprentice because he's always backed up and over worked. He told me he has had a few but they all seem to want to see an animal done, do one themselves, and then run off and try to open their own business. Before opening his business he worked for one of the top taxidermy studios in AZ for 10 years. It takes a long time to learn how to do taxidermy the right way. If you are serious about learning the trade and not wasting his time I can mention your name to him. You have to realize in the beginning its more work for him to teach someone else how to do it then do it himself.

I plan on welding some brackets on the rear bars behind the seats on my rhino that will hold 2 gun/bow cases.

I saw that to but I thought I heard it was near the Grand Canyon. Either way I hope the bulls get the same idea next week.

Quite a strange one there, tough to score but I'll throw out 335 and see what kind of responses I get. -
welcome to the site. welcome to hunting!

I only paid $800 for my minox 15's but that was a few years back. I'm sure you can still find them under a $1000 if you look.

Just so there's no confusion or feelings hurt I wanted to let everyone know I did not glass this deer up. I had the great privlage of scouting with a new friend of mine who is mighty talented behind a pair of optics. He seemed to find almost everything before I could. He was helping me try to find some good bulls while also scouting for his Oct. whitetail tag. I hope he gets this buck because he sure deserves it. You should have seen him shakin' while we watched this majestic creature! -
Sorry it's so dark but I couldn't help that. This is a 110-115 buck. He's a 3x4 not counting eyegaurds. Another pic. I saw 2 bucks over 100 and 4 other bucks ranging from forky to 90. Saw some good bulls to.

After missing that beutiful 95'' 3x4 2 days in a row last year I'm going to have to vote for a B-52 air strike just to make sure!
