No was confused with thumb release

Due to ex wife and neglect I do not have my collection of regulations dating back to the mid 90's. What is the oldest set of regulations among you all?

Unit 10 is fairly guaranteed.

Life was simple when hippies were dirty and poor. Game and Fish is nothing more than bureaucratic bs at its normal operating level. And we need to start fighting the bad guys with their own tactics. keyboard warriors are slowly winning.

I'm switching to back tension due to my experience on latest hunt. Between the time I ranged and then clipped in my release the elk had moved and I feel leaving a back tension already clipped on would have given me the few seconds I needed to range properly and shoot quickly. My wrist release slowed me down.

Population of elk has decreased due to the fires over the last 30 years. It's a cold cold windy booger when the late hunt storms roll through.

Bring lots of water and a gps.

For hobby I would recommend the minelab 3-400 series. Get a pinpointer as well. 1200 bucks is alot of money for what they have on the market these days.

You could always link this topic to a hippie site and the tree huggers will go dig out all the salt. My question is if game and fish can ship the buffalo to the tribes out of state. Then why can't they put some buffalo somewhere else. There is tons of state land in unit 10 that others want to keep a private game preserve. Ship them there.

I'm sure there is. Interesting how the objective on those units didn't change until units around it changed.

Game and fish is proposing moving the 15, 18a elk hunt to the general draw and no longer limited opportunity. Maybe game and fish hired Chad Smith to herd the elk from 10 into the bordering units so they can sell more tags.

I gave up buying boots online unless it is the same boot I have already worn. Best bet would be hit some high end hiking stores and get measured and try on a bunch of boots.

All ranchers are hurting financially. The meat processing facilities are down on employees due to Covid and they want to pay the ranchers pennies and charge us gold and silver. I would rather have them shut the gates and keep it old west instead of just selling it off to developers. And I'm not the biggest fan of cattle grazing.

So is this hunt just a mile long gauntlet and not the dream buffalo hunt you hope for?

If game and fish leaves decoys out during season and they get shot up they should read their own regulations.

Reminds me of the time when I was young and said wow that's 4 Canadian geese sitting on the water and no trucks parked at the trailhead. Well shooting on the water is not against my ethics so me and my hunting partner snuck in and let loose. Those were some expensive decoys and they looked real. No hunters around. We ended up fishing the location and later that day a few hunters rolled in to hunt ducks. I wonder if their memory of that hunt is as hilarious as mine.
