I use to stick all my us filled tags on my gun safe. It got to depressing to look at after awhile so I stopped. Awesome sheds!

There are more hunters putting in. I don't have a problem with issuing more tags as long as they break the hunts up.600 plus archery tags in one hunt in 6a when they could have two consecutive hunts with only 300 tags per hunt.it would be a " more quality"hunt. I like to get drawn every year, I'm not one of those people who gets ten bonus points and then gets a tag and so I can show everyone the bull that my ten friends and I got.its going to get worse down the road. If they cut back on tags everyone would be complaining about how they will never get drawn. I never drew a tag that said " trophy tag" it's either a bull or a cow. The hunt is what you make of it.

They could provide more opportunity as well as trophy quality. They could issue more archery cow tags IF they didn't run them concurrent with bull hunts.issue spike/cow tags like Utah does. I don't put in for archery cow tags just for the reason that they are during the bull hunt. I'm sure that a lot of early archery hunters have had conflicts due to this problem.

That ranch in seligman is just I pile of rocks between the interstate lanes with a fence and some domestic hogs that walk around in it. I see them all the time. Anvil rock road I believe it is.

I heard of some escaping from that canned hunt ranch in Cordes. They breed like crazy so I doubt they are still around or they would be everywhere.

Ever since all the citiots moved up here during the housing boom and tried to fit in all I ever find anymore is shotgun shells. Might have to go out this year since you guys/gals got me thinking about quail in the pan!!

There are pieces of crap in every group. Wether it's hunters,hippies,atheists or Christians. That's why I enjoy living in a small town. Sure there are idiots, but everyone knows who they are.

A friend of mine worked on the ORO years back. He told me of a guy that flew in and landed on legal state land within the ranch checkerboard,set up camp for an antelope hunt. Guess the ranch had some pull with the authorities because they made him leave. He did return and pay the trespass fee and killed a nice buck. My friend worked for the ranch not Chad. I got to go out there a few times. Beautiful place. Deer everywhere. Most were inbred and stunted looking from years of not being hunted and breeding like rabbits.

If you treat someone with respect, they should treat you with respect and vis versa. I always act respectful towards law enforcement. Even if I think they are in the wrong. Usually they relax and appreciate you letting them do their job and that in turn helps you out. Remember it's your word against theirs and they are the ones filling out the report. The judge reads their report and if it states you were a dumba## the judge will most likely treat you like one as well. Knowing your rights and being a jerk because you got caught are two different things. If people understood that they might have a better opinion of LE.

Video cameras are becoming a good thing to have in the hunting gear bag.

It's illegal to chop off antlers and leave a rotting corpse. Regs are free at walmart.

It sounds like some hunters should not put in and just go buy a rack at the g&f auction instead. After all that's all that seems to matter is horns. I think if you can't harvest the meat then the horns belong to the rats and critters that enjoyed the rotting corpse. Go home, practice your shooting or upgrade your gear or whatever it takes to get it done right next time. Not directed at anyone, but society in general.

Is that all a tag is good for? Antlers? I always thought g&f issued tags for the meat. In fact it is a crime to waste meat and harvest just antlers.

I understand going to the city and having to worry about your safety but the woods? The woods are my church.

I'm sure that only live catch traps can be used on public land. Snares and jaw/leg hold traps are only allowed on private land.

Construction is staring to boom again in the prescott area. The last boom displaced a lot of Lopes in the area. Get them while they are still here. Its not ever gonna be like it use to be.
