Were the elk and deer still packing?deer still packing. Elk were all missing headgear

18 pages started with a lie.. I hope you draw a unit 14 jackalope tag.

Was up in 8 last weekend. Saw alot of elk and deer. Even got to see those elusive pine tree antelope. Found quad tracks way into a spot we had to hike in 3-4 miles. Good thing we didnt catch him... Found more trash than we could carry. Pretty irritated with peoples lack of respect for nature. No antlers found.

Anybody ever drawn for these? Dont hear much about it.

People should try eating healthier and they would have plenty of energy. Energy drinks are about as bad tasting as mud puddles.
-
I know of one guy who was called and met a game warden at a local ranch and killed a bear that was eating calves.. Besides that I have not heard much about it. Seems like another money making flop.

I found a 400" dead bull, give me the general area if you think its your haha

need a guide with at least twenty helpers who can put locks on gates and a photographer to take pictures of me on private property/access fee land so i can claim diy hunt on public land. Been writing false reviews stating how horrible my unit is to discourage other from putting in for MY unit. so i should get a tag for sure. Gonna shoot a small bull and cry about how long i had to wait in line on the road and breathe exhaust fumes of all the other road hunters in front of me

I wonder how many people who put in early scratched unit 10 off their list due to the short lived price hike that changed only a few days before the draw. Well played, well played.
-
I put in for late hunts with low tag numbers. Besides, at this rate I would need 20 points to get drawn if I waited ten years. Just love to hunt. size only matters to stuck up chicks.. Jk jk.

Criminal tresspassing is more than one violation. Plus you have to be caught in the act by LE for it to be proven. Kinda like speeding, you cant get a ticket unless the officer sees you personally. Plus I never saw a ranch hand sober enough to see me. A fence is to keep cattle in and not humans out. Unless properly posted per law. When the law changes I will abide by it. Until then I exploit the loophole. This only pertains to private land as mentioned though.

Nice job! Long range 44 mag shooting is one of my favorite past times.
-
Also interested in finding out if using land for payed hunts changes the tax bracket they should pay. After all wildlife is not agriculture.

I have not found a ranch that has its fenceline properly posted with no trespassing signs EVERY 1/4 mile . They usually only post near roads. Per az law hunting is permitted unless properly posted. If they catch you they can ask you to leave. I have done it many times and dont feel one bit of guilt. Also can the big bo legally keep you from hunting water on the state land sections of the ranch? Are guides allowed to hunt water after they pay the fee?

G&F has been appeasing alot of ranchers and anti hunting out of state imigrant homeowners in the prescott area lately. Such as the quarter mile rule for archery hunters after someone shot a granola eaters "pet deer".

Great information, thank you!! -
I would saw 10 only because it does not have a cow hunt at the same time and I see nice bulls there consistently.
-
If you catch them you should have a slide show presentation at the school.

I was just thinking how much I missed my old Spanish 7x57 mauser. that metal buttplate made me the man I am today haha!

Need to hunt coyotes? Go here ......
Explorer replied to Chris's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
I remember when they would go up in helicoptors in the 19 units and blast em every year. Sure helped the antelope. Now the houses are destroying the antelope habitat. -
isn't bait legal for bears on the rez?

I remember when i was younger my dad dropped off our apps at the post office. The guy at the counter was a granola eater lookin hippie dirt clod. Two days after the deadline our apps were returned to our mailing adress for no reason. From the post office, not G&F. That treehugger sabatoged our hunt. After that we hand delivered our apps to Flagstaff G&F. Probably gonna start doing that again.

awesome finds, Explorer, love to have found those shears. I saw a similar kleated driving shoe at a gun emplacement, Ft Craig, NM. Maybe a mule threw it pulling one of the forts 6" brass Howitzers during the battle of ValVerde? Fun to think so, anyhow. I found the shoe in 17a very close to the old military trail that runs through it. Definitely not your average size horse or mule.
