I have been using trail cameras in camp the last few seasons. Thieves are the worst. I hope they get what they deserve.

Sounds like you cashed in your points and shot the buck you wanted in an area that is slowly turning to crap for antelope hunting. The only thing I would complain about is using a guide in a unit you can just about see every antelope in the whole unit from a high enough vantage point.

Talk to Jim at Bucky O Neil's guns in prescott. He has collectable guns for sale that are not on display in the store. -
Welfare recipients get bison meat for free is all I read.

Interesting how him and Chad Smith are the ones game and fish have highly publicized and Chad got off with a smack on the limp wrist..

I am curious if anybody thinks about what food they pack for the day and if animals can smell it. I like a good protein boost of tuna or some citrus fruit during the day. I have recently began to wonder if what I put in my pack is a scent bomb in the field..

Explorer replied to Elkhunter1's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
No coues in my elk unit so I'm gonna be chasing mule deer. Maybe December coues if no luck in the early season.. -
Yes sir. Quit the only career I was actually certified in. Now I have a job that pays more and less stress. I lucked out when I took a chance. Never going to let work stress me out again.

Just saw my first fawn of the year yesterday. Hopefully they have a chance against the coyotes and developers.

Just think of the future our military has with the softening of America's youth.

15 years ago a friend and I were drinking to much and he was driving.. Ya young and dumb.. he got arrested for dui and was told his expensive handgun was stolen. Got out the next day with no gun charge on record and couldn't object to it because of it compounding his dui charge. The police officer stole his gun and knew what he was doing.

We still have till around Tuesday for hits correct? Hoping my son still draws.

Archery tag! Not sure if cow or bull though. Can't wait to start scouting.

Living close to the limited opp. Areas is a bonus. I have had amazing hunts and disappointments. The experience I have gained hunting those units is priceless. Now I could draw a better tag I could put that experience to use.

I'm just hoping to get a late archery tag. 6 years of drawing 3-5th choice has had its toll on me.

Cow elk caliber for kids rifle

7x57 is a great cartridge. Most factory loads are underloaded though due to so many old 95/96 models floating around. Handloads do it justice. -
20a,19a,19b and 17b all have a zone that is 1/4 mile rules for archery. Happened after someone killed a "pet" deer in one of the city parks.

That whole thought process was around the idea that hunting disrupts the antelope rut, correct? Maybe more pregnant does equals more fawns. I wonder if they have seen success with the expirements they did in other units recently. That does make sense.
-
I also noticed that they moved a couple antelope hunts into october.. I'm excited for the regs to come out so I can put in for some tags!

Great price. To bad I'm broke.

Border patrol is a billion dollar government organization. I gotta lot of respect for the guys on tthe ground. But somewhere up the ranks is $$$$. Secure the border and the bigwigs lose those cake jobs funded by our tax dollars.
