I enjoy cams and use them other places besides water so they won't get stolen. This new regulation only affects the less average hunters anyways.

Love those old 22 rifles.

New AZGF rule (proposed, which means it’s a done deal) about game cameras:

I would rather see a hat instead of one like that old naked guy someone posted a few years back. -

Ambition always makes creativity. The hunt will go on. I set cams on trails and a few springs. Never risked waterholes anyways. Hung my hat over a few without causing harm and checked the tank. -
It was a combination of good bad and ugly tags.

Junior tag for my son. I can't complain about not getting drawn after a 10+ years streak of tags.

They don't do much about people lag bolting camera boxes to trees, wonder what the enforcement effort will be on this new plan.. -
10 muzzy bull and 8 late archery bull.

Why az elk? Genetics..? What are the chances of them "farming" a new world record.
-
Have not heard any reports of the elk dying off from lack of water, the elk are still around and getting what they need. Normal strategy is just not working. Adjust technique and go hunting. Good luck on the next draw.

Sweet neck shot. Way to go!

9mm is amazing out of a rifle length barrel.

Walking out of a trailhead with a rifle and a deer on your back and running into game and fish could make for an interesting story.

Wont anybody do anything about the lack of rain?

Arizona is a desert. I document every water source I come across. From mud puddles to windmills to springs and tanks. Sometimes the best way is to follow the cattle trails or watch the birds. Water is gold in this state. -
Pigs all over 19b. Check north of walnut creek or hells canyon off 89.mesa around paulden, aka big black mesa. Via feather mountain road. Lots of pigs on the deep well ranch in the scrub oak just remember the 1/4 mile rule with archery in that unit.

Buddy of mine sent me pics of his lion from last year. Tried to get the job done with his sinew backed Osage Orange stick bow but ended up taking it with his glock 40 to get it off the dogs. Weighed in at 151 lbs. Friend is the guy with the facial hair.other guy is the guide.

They are out. Congratulations to the junior hunters on 600+ tags hopefully added.

Still had blood on them when I found them. Spotted off a road no less. Best day of shedhunting in my life. Gunsmith2506 wife mounted them for me.
-
If it's the same buck he was smaller when I found him. Thought he was stunting in old age. Very similar though. Saw him alive many times just never got a shot

I would be curious to find out if those are from unit 10.. I have sheds that are curiously similar. Especially the double brow tine and the main beam on the left side..

They are starting to develop for 10000 homes on the deep well in 19b. Prescott valley is soon annexing all the way to perkinsville road in 19a. Sad. When I was a kid there was plenty of goat's and plenty of habitat.
