I have said it many times that in my 40 years of living in 19a/19b it has been devastating to watch the destruction of one of the biggest trophy producing areas for antelope in the country. Looking back I was very upset when access issues cut a major amount of tags in 19b. But now I consider it a blessing in the fact that the herd will have a safe place to exist at least until the big chino and deep well sell off to developers.

Everyone complaining about how someone spends 5 bucks. Wait till game and fish starts charging money to get put on the list for next in line hmmm...

A guy I know was killed this year in 23 when he took his pack off and set it down and the rifle in the pack scabbard went off and struck him in the femoral artery. I beleive it was one of the old remington rifles with the old trigger.

It seems the out of staters have pretty good luck with the late tag draw odds. Was on a hunt in unit 8 a few years ago and ran into a non resident who had also drawn the hunt two years in a row.

Hmm opium comes from the middle east. We have military operations in the middle east... doing what.. guarding opium crops. Oh wait fighting terrorism thats right. There was an albino mule deer buck in 20a that was often sighted out senator highway. I always wondered his fate.

Its called hunting. Get put there and hit the hills. The elk should be moving and good luck. I have been hunting 10 for decades and they could be anywhere. Dont give up. He who hesitates has already lost half the battle.

I need to start renting snowmobiles for 1k a week during late elk hunts.

I was not trying to be offensive either. Honestly though your case can be used in a court of law to let others go who dont abide by the law but still get caught. Court cases are won by comparison to other convictions. I feel you did the right thing.

You can never have enough pocket handwarmers. I usually get a couple dozen every christmas.

I read this story this morning. I have never been on that road. Judging by the corner fencing is it within a quarter mile of a tank... possibly a overfilled tank?

I preffer a late hunt with snow. . Snow is nothing. I would rather hunt in a foot of snow than 3 inches of mud after it melts. Been on hunts that were almost zero at night in a tent. Adapting to your environment is a main rule in hunting. Plus the meat stays cold.
