The last census showed a 16 percent growth in population. On the plus side we gained a seat in the house but we aslo gained a new crop of people driving their gay carts around and applying for tags. That is where the 18000 apps came from!

So if everyone with a declined card gets called then nobody gets a step up at the expense of the less fortunate.. kind of a coin toss. If I had card issues I would be all for a phone call. But I would also be happy for a second chance tag due to someone getting rejected.

When my dad was alive he would drive our apps to flagstaff and turn them in by hand. He took them to the post office one year when i was young and he got them returned to sender. He swore the post office guy was a tree hugger and screwed him on purpose. Those were the good old days. Anybody know how many bonus points it took to draw bull tags after they initiated the bonus point system years ago? Probably a handfull at most.

12 tags in 15 years. Only one not drawn. The others i didnt put in. Poverty tags yes. 2 bull tags. One rifle one archery. To put things in perspective. My first elk tag was in unit 10 with 150 ish tags for cow.

Thanks for the link also Prdatr. Mine is 4th quarter 1966. When they first reintroduced the white hunter the price was alot lower. And i like the quality of stag the older ones have compared to the new ones.

Handle is raindeer . Classic skinner profile. Good German steel. Puma is making reproductions of this knife now. I imagine the quality is junk judging by the price.

Sounds like doctors should have spent their money on things different than sports cars and private parking. And they will be the first people the government bails out on taxes and such. I got mine and I make way way less than them.

Just got back from exploring the sheridan fire area. Found some cool old bottles and such. It looks like a nuclear weapon went off out there. If the forest gets closed they will post roads with signs like they do during fires.

Onx maps and a realistic idea of what he will shoot should make for a good hunt in that unit. Lots of huntable land both public and private.
