Congrats but I didn't even see more than 10 mule deer in that unit when I hunted it last year. Of course when I show,up in Feb to hunt yotes I saw tons of them

I don't remember the program I got but I printed it off and put it in my rifle stock. I was just going off of that and went out shooting and tracked it perfect. But when I used another web site or shooters app I too was a whole MOA off according to their program. So that got me worried but after staying the course with my cut print sheet and center plating my shots I new my cut sheet works. At higher elevations I ease off about a 1/4 MOA and I hit dead center at 500 yards. So I too saw a difference with other programs and when people say they love the Shooter App that's great but it never lined up with my shots.

Where do you practice your long range shooting?

I found a nice 500 yard spot and used it a few times, but it's on state trust land. A lot of people go out there and recently FS put up extras signs stated no shooting state land. So they caught on and I stopped my illegal activity in fear of getting caught. So every time I go out I bring my range finder and drive around trying to find that one spot that no one else knows. -
I treat the terrain all the same, even if it's next to a road, highway,in the middle of nowhere or homes. I've chased a 190" mule with my bow very close to town. Last January I was chasing a good medium 4 point mule with my bow and javalina within a 1/2 mile of a main road.
