I did a 2 year church mission up in Montana and stayed in kalispell for 6 months during spring to fall! If you go in june lots of areas still could be blocked off because of snow. Best time to go is at the end of June while everything is still wet and lots of water coming off the mountains, but you can still go on hikes. Since its a National park you don't need a lic I think. But they also don't stock anything in there. July is nice and most of the snow in the lower area is gone but lots more traffic and lately more forest fires in the area at this time and sometimes the mountain range is all smoked out. I remember the first time I went there. It felt like I walked into a painting!!! Also I know of some locals that fished as far back as possible past the Hungry Horse Resv. Take a little fishing reel and lure and they claimed they caught cut throats all day. Make noise because its Huckleberry season and the Grizs are out in about in those areas past the Reserve in the patches. Speaking of that stop at every malt shops off the road and have a huckleberry malt for me.

My first cut ever was a big one. All healthy, low calories!!! That sucked! Thats why people get off diets and plump back up because its just to extreme! While bulking I ate healthy 80% of the time and it was easy because I was always over eating and feeling full. This time for cutting I took the advise from people who has made a life out of lifting, cutting, and doing shows. They all say the same thing go long and slow with a cut. Since Im cutting and no longer over eating I feel more cravings for greasy foods. Breakfast I always eat half of a breakfast burrito from the food truck, and usually eat something good like a burger or pizza and wings for lunch. Dinner wife usually cooks something really good and healthy with lots of veggies and greens. As long as I keep hitting my calories and focus on protein I do good. Every week I drop 1/2 to 1 pound of weight every week. So more like 50% of the time I eat healthy while cutting. I won't put myself through what I did the first time.

Summer is up on us again. Spent all winter bulking and lifting. Gained around 5-7lbs of muscle. Now Im on week 7 cutting. Im just doing a flexible diet high in protein about 350 calories below my maintenance. Ive lost 7 pounds. Last time I was at 180 lbs I was at 20% body fat and last week I hit 180lbs again with the extra muscle I gained and Im at 15% body fat. For the first time in 15 years Im starting to look good Im going to keep going until I hate eating in a calorie deficit

How close is too close to set up and glass? Deer eyesight question
Zeke-BE replied to broadhead's topic in Coues Biology
ideally 300 yards - 1000 yards for me. I would say I focus mainly on the 500-800 yard ranges. About 500 yards they don't notice you or don't care. Get yourself in an area were 80% of the time you can be glassing 400 yards out. (that means your in a good spot and you can spend some good amount of time in that spot glassing) Never overlook 100-300 yards though -
Oh man I forgot about this rifle. You need to start shooting asap and see how she does! Thats a sweet rig

Try the 36A or 36 B youth Nov 23- 29th. If you go that route hit me up. There is plenty of road hunting possible with that limited amount of tags. Ill point you in some areas not to far off the pavement too

That looks like my reloading table all the time sadly -
I have never been below 10% but most reports of people trying to achieve that says that last little bit will take the longest. You got to remember the body wants fat! Once you get that low it will try everything it can to hold on to it especially at the calories your at for your size . Sounds like your body is near starvation mode and now it recognizes it and slowing your metabolism down. You should know when you hit it. Food craving is getting out of control, testosterone is down, not as happy or somewhat depressed. If you are at that point add some food for a while and cut back down.

Holy Crap!! How long have you been at 1900? Your TDEE ( Total Daily Exercise Expenditure) with moderate exercise 3-5 days just to maintain is 3500 calories Even Jeff has a video Ive seen about being to low and how you will hit a wall. Is the calories his plan? Did you start at 3000? Then work your way down. If you went strait to 1900 you will be losing weight like crazy fast and then hit a stalling point. You could be there. Maybe go back up to 2500 for a few weeks and add some brisk walking for 45 min a day and work on your calorie drop from there. Lots of studies have been done when you hit walls your body needs a change before it can progress on what you are trying to achieve. The easiest is the long slow steady weight lost which your body can adapt (which most people do not want to do) Doing it to fast has a down side. Most people get off and the body doesn't have enough weeks to adapt and wants to go back to what it was. So when people get off a diet and go back to their old habits within 2-6 months they gain it back.
