Shoot far, shoot long, shoot from a blind, tree stand, spear, shooting hogs from a helicopter, hunting black bear on bait, or from a boat in Alaska, or high fences in texas! Who cares nobody is thinking about what other people think on how they hunt. Except a hand full of people on this forum. Just because you don't think much of it or what should be expected doesn't mean you need to knock on it for other. I have my ways day in and day out but Ill try any style of hunting just to say I did it.

Im going to give idagf the benefit of the doubt that he was meaning that not to many 14 year olds get the opportunity like up close and personal then a 14 year old with a rifle. But yes you guys are right that 14 year old shoots more then most on here and her groupings prove it!! Let alone her awesome buck she took last year

If you can shoot nice and tight 300 yard you can shoot 500 yards once you know how to get your scope on it. The only real trick by 500 yards is wind. 3mph not much change 10 you better understand it. 700 yards and out you better understand 3-5mph winds depending on what your shooting it could end up from 12"-24". That can be a complete miss or a gut shot on a little coues

Nice kills guys! Now the Devils advocate??? Ive only taken one shot out to 700 yards on an animal, but 2 kills little under 500 yards one shot Dirt!. I missed and I was confused because I have a 3-4" group at 700 yards and read wind pretty good. Then I found out that I ranged over the back and put me 100 yards farther out. MOAs that far out will miss big time

Alot of people including myself defended 777 about the first crime he committed. But enough people were tired of his bullying on line, and then promotes himself to others to feel good about what he did, and now we are just fed up with him. Then this whole thing happens but since he has already made himself with who he is on CWT it wouldn't have matter if it was a spike if it was done by 777! And alot of people are just done with him. Plus most members here are stand up guys and any type of tolerance of poaching (even a spike) or breaking the law strikes a nerve with us!!

I think your right and with the technology part. Mainly alot of die hards or old timers hate to see the new generation coming in and think they can have the gadgets and shoot 500 yards from the start. Like everyone in life you have to start from the beginning and in hunting it starts with Respect for your firearm, and nature. Then learn how to hunt hunt. Stalking, shooting,glassing, etc etc.Then once you get done with that min wage job advance up to something better either in longer shots, better shooting, and getting closer to game. But it annoys me too when you have a newbie hunter first question on CWT is "I want to get into long range hunting what 800 dollar rifle and scope should I buy"

^^^^^Dirty Rotten guy!! Thanks to him I had to build wildcats and have mile long texts with him to get final groups!! All that wasted time for a sweet rig!!! Agreed Lance is a Good dude even though he wont shoot at a dove unless its 20 ft away so he can pat himself on the back and say "I shot my 12 doves with 14 rounds"

Sounds like my diet!! Good to see you back at the gym! From old post it sounded like you have spent a long time on the healthy or bodybuilding side of life. Ive lost 12lbs now over a slow cut of 14 weeks and I am now at the point my strength is going down and starting to feel starving. Starting a Reverse diet back up to 2800 calories and bulk for the hunting season. Bulking calories is around 3000-3200 calories I can't wait

Sound like a liberal!! This isn't fair so lets make new laws, and add more laws to make it fair. Fair Fair Fair!!! Here is a secret for success for everything! Create your own life that you want! Government doesn't do it for you, Trump doesn't do it for you, your friends dont do it for you. Its just you!!!!. I don't care about the cameras either and yes in some areas they ruin the sport. But last I checked you will come across D-Bags in all areas of life! Don't let that stop you. Find another way! Tree stand or blind the usual route they take to the water hole instead of sitting at the water hole. Find their food source. Glass more. Scout more. Hunt more. Do you think this will stop a business from pulling out 230" bucks out of the Bab!! If they are a creator in their life they will just find another way. Maybe hire a couple more grunts to track down that buck, that will raise cost to the owner guided and just charge more for his service. Stop relying on outside source for what you want!

Driving texas highways is one thing with a 1/2 ton. Driving up and down the Beline/ I-17/ and the 60 headed up to the 260 sure feels nice once your pulling that heavy trailer with a 3/4 ton truck. You never really truly feel the weigh until you are on a 6-7% grade on a turn.

As for your blood work and foods that don't make since as long as you are below your TOTAL DAILY ENRGY EXPENDITURES (TDEE) which you are with 2300 calories your body will use the fats for energy and doesn't store any because you are burning up more then you take in. Even if you eat lots of sugars and fats and you are below TDEE your blood work will get better. Different story happens once you are on a calorie surplus which you already know since you know what its like to be at 284lbs. Beside all this stuff good for you and keeping at it and getting down the weight how do you know what his tdee is without knowing his activity level or BF% I don't!! Somewhat comparing to me. But if hes losing weight he must be burning more then what he takes in

Even at 2300 calories at 197lbs you are about roughly 600 calories below your body maintenance level (TDEE) Your body will adjust and adapt to the type of foods you take in. Just switching over you diet a bit will kick it back into gear but the underline thing here is what trophyhunter is talking about is calories deficit. Im at 178lbs eating at 2500 calories for the past 10 weeks Ive been going down about a 1/2 pound to 1 pound a week. I usually eat ok and healthy but I cheat every day. This morning I had Dingdongs, last night I had popcorn and M&Ms so on and so on. As long as you burn more by the end of the day you will lose weight. You can also get fat by over eating calories with only healthy food too! If it works for you great and have fun doing it. But there are plenty of studies showing and comparing the different type of Fad diets out there and in the end they all add up almost the exact same. Besides who wants to give up pizza?? And yes I have pizza at least once a week with wings! Watch your protein and watch your calories is my moto.
