If I was building a race car that could run a 9 sec quarter mile, and do it "consistently" for 10 grand. why would I pay 100,000 grand to build a custom car that did a 9 sec quarter mile consistently. I get the Coach purse mentality.... but why???? have yet to hear a good reason... the work truck compared to the new ford work truck? nope. "because I want to...…" nope, does not change my mind at all. I have 4 different rifles (6.5 cm, 270 wsm, 300 wsm, and 300 win) that I have had for years that shoot 1/2 moa at 100-1000, and have for many years... not once but ever time I shoot them IF I DO MY JOB.. No, I don't want to bet you and no I don't want to go to competitions…. I am just saying, other than impressing someone who doesn't care what you paid.... why? And yet your camo is top of the line out of control expensive!! But there you are wearing them! Why??? I thought you weren't there to impress people how much money you spent when you can buy something for lot cheaper and do the job!!! ------hmmmm------oh wait maybe you like the design, the feel, the light weight, a hand down, a gift etc etc etc. Or maybe--------you just wanted it. Why do you say why??? People just like to have it because they can!! There is your answer its been said in all 5 pages so far! For the 98% of people it is calories. Those thyroid or hormone problems are not the norm. Lots of studies compared all the diet fabs together in a 3-6 month period and they all end up almost identical. The one thing they all had in common................yep.......calories deficit. Lots of people do just fine with keto and get used to it but all athletes say the same thing or have this in common is that once they get off keto they notice an increase in strength and recovery. So why lose full potential of strength, recovery, lose weight the same, give up on pizza, bread, pasta is crazy to me!! But in the end if you like it go for it.

If your building a rifle and its your only way out if life slaps your around you shouldn't be buying or building a rifle. Just like you shouldnt buy a house that is 40% of your income, or you have cars that are worth 50% of your annual take home pay. It will catch up to you fast if life slaps you around. Custom's are a luxury item and should be treated as such. If you have the money and you don't care for a custom well do what you want

At least your hunting!!! Start shooting everyday. Once you get your sights set up practice practice! If your shooting and your shots end up being off don't touch your sights. Rest and shoot the next day and see what happens

For Most hunters a Tikka, Rem, Rugur, Savage it will do the job done deal! If you can't understand Lances descriptions then you will never understand why people put the money into it. If you understand but refuse to live like that life style nothing wrong with it. As what Lance has posted I preferred the 35ft 5th wheel over a tent every time.
