After reading some of these post about the lady feeling irritated I made sure I was super Nice to her and asked her if she could help me out with my scheduling for my January Javalina hunt. Sounded like a older women and was nice. I got drawn for the 36s archery pig hunt and now got to go and buy my archery deer tag

I'm an ASU fan hard core, but I'm also a Hard Core PAC 12 Fan! The best results for the PAC 12 to stay in the final 4 play off and a shot at the title is the Ducks to beat Arizona. Believe me I love seeing Arizona get beat down, but I don't ever want them to beat someone in the PAC 12 that has a better rank then them. Nor do I want someone that is ranked less then Arizona to get beat by them unless its ASU

Everybody morals are different, but when it comes to coyotes as long as there are lead in the air there is hope in the heart from 5 yards to a 1000 yards

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! So jealous! Now that I can put my anger aside of bagging 2 bulls at the same time in different location, sometimes it pays off to be in the right place with the right equipment, at the right time, and all the work that went into it. Great job guys!

Tell you what that is the jean poll I've seen in there. They always have a good solid fork then branch off small. I chased a a fork about the size of that buck but just a forky though. It was a good looking forky I must add

Last week I was down on my mule deer hunt. That first night it was a storm of coyotes and I can hear them harrasing the ranchers horse. Next day ran into a hunter that helping his older dad on his hunt. Right before we pulled up on them they just shot at a coyote. He goes on and explains he's been Glassing up a ton of them and was watching a few coyotes harrasing some deer. That's when he took the shot. That night same thing coyotes all over the place. Later on the hunt I get to a high point and started glass that morning and then it sounded about 6 of them just started up yelping and howling. I was looking frantically for them but I couldn't find them but I know they are there. Two years ago my brother hunted that same spot and he counted over 175 mule deer doe's. This year we counted up maybe 15 doe's. Not sure where they all went but I'm sure the yotes either pushed them out and probably ate a few. If your from Tucson and want a spot PM me I'll give my location. I live to far to do a stand.

Keep it up guys thin those guys out. I'm telling you there were deer everywhere 2 years ago and this year you just saw a few deer a day. I'm sure they ate all the fawns up.

We'll it's been 8 years since I last shot a bow and been bow hunting. We'll I'm Back!!! Bought a Hoyt Charger and man, bows are like computers the technology has come a long way. I went out shooting this morning for the first time in 8 years and was impresses with me or the bow. Hitting paper plates all morning at 60 yards and size of a fist at 30 yards. I'm heading down in January with a pig and deer tag in the 36's units and I shoot a 100 grain. But I'm out of the loop on archery equipment, what are some decent prices on decent Broadhead? Man I tell you it felt great shooting a bow again, smiles all morning

I guess I'm confused and now lost on this matter. If ft/lbs doesn't matter, with bullet energy, that doesn't really matter, isn't there some type of energy that is doing damage because of ft/lbs??? If I compare my .270 to my buddies 30-378 his ft/lbs is the same at 700 yards then my .270 is at 200 yards. They were rough numbers but to keep things simple that's were we are at. So it should be the same knock down power beside bullet size and design. But if you compare those bullets to a gelatin and see if what does more of some type of hydro shock to the inside I guess you can compare. So my question is this, and I'm having a hard time to put this into words; is there no knock down power behind the bullet or does it only compare to speed and size and bullet design on impact???????!

I think it's been over 15 years since I read cursive, but to answer your question yes it shouldn't penetrate as it is design Tomore so explode on impact. But I have read stories and seen pictures that some bullets didn't penetrate so well on javalina. But I wouldn't hesitate to use him on those pigs.

Biggest buck I chased with a bow was in 2005 January hunt was pushing 190 inch buck. Ever since then I've notice mule deer decreasing. And sadly I was busted by 3 does because I got up to 50 yards of him and couldn't get a shot set up.

Awesome great job

If we don't hear any good news this would be the 3rd year in a row with real poor success with mule deer in that unit.
