Priceless. Last I checked this is still a country with a judicial system and habeus corpus. His rights were violated, court found in his favor and issued a judgement. We have been over this before. I agree with you Jucube, but it's the irony in this!! This sounds like "hands up don't shoot". But this time the hand were up and the shot was made! I guess I wasn't around for the , "we have been over this before". Unless your talking about his rights in the first page of this thread. The system isn't perfect, his rights did get violated, and I guess he doesn't get in trouble for the real crime. But if I was part of the system, and new how it work and I wanted to help my buddie out couldn't i knowingly go in and violate his right and dismiss his true crime? Theoretically yes, but again there is no possible evidence this took place. If your not government then my guess maybe a lawyer?? Because it seems like your either passional about the law or you know Wagner? Again your causing me to guess!

25-06 ???? Best all around bullet
Zeke-BE replied to lionhunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I'm with ya, but Lance and Stomp can probably load that bullet backwards and still get it to group a 1/2 inch at 400 yards and hit plate at 800. When it comes to load and bullets they got it! -

Real men dress up in just a loin clothe and spear their deer dead!! Just kidding good looking buck! Congrats -
Jcubed sounds like he is game and fish, coming to the defense, and pointing out why are we still upset, your avatar is no pictures, no location, and subject is " usual stuff on the Internet". Combine all this it looks like a friend or colleague in the defense of G and F. But of course that is all speculation on my part and there are many people who have the same status like you. But the reason why everyone is so upset, is that we the hunters when doing something dumb and could be given a warring on certain matters, just get the iron fist from the authorities. I have friends who are no longer help out Gamefish because the way they were treated while trying to give them information on illegal matters. And now we have a warden who suspect Botch, but is now getting off from their own crime. If it is legally done right it's still upsetting! But on defense of the wardens friends, and in the spirt of the law and not the Letter! I probably would've put the elk down myself as well as the Spirt of the Law! But I would been cited as a poacher and they would've taken my bow and I hunting license! And guarantee I would've lost my case

Antelope are easy to glass up. Every time you go out that you think there might be goats you will find them. Even in heavy brush and Juniper iin cedarss. We glassed up 2 years ago a strong 89" or possibly 90" goat in that unit. We were there when there archers were out but no one landed him yet. Then my buddies dad had that rifle hunt. They never found him the whole time and settled on a 87" buck.

So who thinks they are REALLY good with a bow?

He's not that good, he's only my apprentice -
Can't beat having the kids there. I'm having my 4 th this June so scouting will be hard this summer, but I'll soon have an army to help me find some sheds

Thanks for the help guys. I was thinking 7 mile wash and down to the salt river. I usually like the 36 units, and I was going to put in achery kiabab hunt but wife is expecting our 4 th child in June and realistically I don't think I can pull away to scout the BAB this year. So a closer drive sounds good. I' hunt the roads while I'm going to my spots and then hike out. But jonesface it's hard to find an area to hike a mile or two and not come across another road. But I strive to look for areas that are 1-3 square miles with no roads and hunt it. Usually turns out good, but I've been in those area were the other 5% hunter ( probably CWT members) were thinking the same thing and now your fighting a 2 square miles with 4 hunters. Crazy but it happens!!!

Arizona Pointing Dog Club
Zeke-BE replied to Upland81's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Where is this information at? My brother has a 6 month old GSH pointer and been training him. But he has never trained a dog before. The dog is smart, points and retrieves very well, but help from experience people would truly help. -
I my uncle made a good shot once through one lung and watched pile up. Could of made an easy second shot right before it piled up but didn't. Gave it some time and walked over there found a big blood pile blood and no deer. Once it stopped bleeding it ran off and there wasn't one drop of blood to track. Make the second shot if you got it.
