20% of the tags for each hunt number are given to those with the max number of bonus points in an initial drawing. The 10% NR cap still applies. So that leaves 70% for all the lucky people. That would be 80% for all the lucky people. Isn't it 20% for max and 10% for non res?

I'm not to sure about AZ declining a whole bunch as far as quality. Every year Az continuously puts BIG animals on the walls and in the books. Now I may be speaking out my butt but maybe a combination of the weather and varmits over the past few years has alot to do with the decling Mule deer heards? I know people are saying it has to do with hunter oppurtunity but that has just started happening recently ( I think) If I am wrong please let me know your opinion. IMO if they want to have the Mule deer numbers explode just shut down a unit or two here and there for a year or two and that probably would help out a bit. ( but that would decrease hunter opportunity ) AAAaaaaarrrrgggghhh. Never mind! Nothing makes sense. BLA BLA BLA

Lets face it, Doug..... all the BPs do is give us hope, and not much else. Guys with no points will still draw tags..... It has happened to me and I was happy, but the fact is that the BP system does not work very well. I hope I Never have "max" or the "most" BPs for anything...... And I wish the same for all of you.... not being drawn for that long is just plain Wrong! Yup I have a friend that pulled the speed goat rifle tag first year putting in. "your just playing the lottery" any lucky S.O.B. can pull a tag.

What ever you do don't ask about " sighting in your rifle" or "which bow is better" And definately dont ask about a deer having his antler blown off. Yup if you are not drawn you will be awarded a bonus point for next year and every year your not drawn .If you get your hunters ed card before next draw you will also recieve another permanent bonus point. So it is possible you could go into next years draw with 3. The 3rd being your application next year. Also you can get a loyalty point after putting in for the same species for 5 consecutive years. Once you are drawn you lose all your points except for the bonus point. You also will not lose your loyalty point (once you get it) if you continue putting in. If you miss a year then you will start all over on the loyalty point.
