You betcha! Last time I was there with Kevin lawhorn dropping off his son's euro bull. That was one cool cactus buck you had in the tub!! Look forward to seeing more of your artistry Dale, so Matthew and I will definitely pop in.

The buck in my avatar is a 16 a rifle hunt, second day of hard glassing. Mid afternoon bedded behind and under a mesquite in the mckracken mountain range. Good Luck

Is it the junior any antlered in 23? My son drew that tag and also drew late rifle bull in 23...........hoping I come into a bucket of money, cause I would gladly put the Good ol AZ GROUND POUNDERS to work!!! If I do not fall on a briefcase of dough, I will be guiding my son to his first (probably coues) southeast of Young. If you see an 05 red dodge with the plates OUT2HNT, stop on in!!

Absolutely stunning work Dale! You are a true artist with all your work and I love FINE taxidermy. Really dig the motion in the piece! Kudos -
Looks exactly like the first buck I didn't get the shot off on, he was a shorter thicker 4 on the left. After seeing his last years right side, I dont think its the same buck. He was a 3 on the right. Love the the mass!

GD right! I could not have said it better myself. aside from closing down the forest how in the heck do you close on the Indian Reservation forest? Azkiller----your a special kinda stupid making remarks like this, and I dont care to read any apologies or back handed remarks from you again. If I were a moderator on this forum, you sir would be removed as a member. Ignorance like yours is a disease this site does not need. Just unbelievable this hasn't been removed already Amanda, absolute shame.

I helped 73 year old Ray Williamson take this 6'9" nose to tail (20 and 14/16 skull after drying period) Arizona Black Bear in 3c on october 15th 2013. He was after the meat and the skull and gifted my son Matthew and I the hide. The Bear was aged at 13-16 years old and was found on my son's youth elk hunt. We videoed the bear for a bit and decide we should hunt him. The bad news was all my PTO had been used so I risked losing my job if I missed the 15th. Ray had a cow tag following matthew's youth hunt and so I decided that I would give him the opportunity to sit the ridge where I thought he stood a chance at seeing the bear return. He said "why not" and drove into heber and bought the tag. By 130 pm I had walked him via cell phone to his spot and he began his wait. By 400 p.m. I received a call from Ray asking if I had a sharp knife, he had killed the bear and could not move it, let alone had any knowledge of how to skin or quarter it. I had promised if he downed the bear I would assist, so after a criminal speeding ticket outside payson (Thank you for bringing me off my adreniline high officer) I made it to Ray within 90 minutes. My son and i packed into the canyon to find the biggest bear I had seen on the ground, and so jet black it was surreal. By 1030 pm we had the meat in forrest lakes and I had the head and hide headed back to the valley to have the bear checked by fish and game. Chris Krueger with Krueger's Creations did an amazing job with this mammoth. I wanted to do a full mount but listen to my fiance when she said "Save the money for your trophy" which seems to me a worthy option. Thank you all for reading about the Hunt!
