I watched them in movement many times on my november hunt last year.Also my buddy found a small grave---4-6year old size--very depressing to think what they are willing to go through for a chance at a better life.With that being said--I was on the horn no less than three times and watched bp pick em up 1/4 mile away. Regardless of the illegals still my favorite unit to hunt coues in. I love 36b!

I triple that. I have taken a couple of yotes on a rifle deer hunt though. I enjoyed the heck out of myself in 36b last year glassin them up moving in and around a water hole and slappin one of em at 158 yards with the 7mm. swear he almost did a flip LOL!!!

Took me 6 years to finally successfully spot and stalk and actually hit and drop my first muley.Just keep flinging them and one is bound to connect.I agree with cns,and practice shooting from seated and kneeling positions

Donnie, I am with you on this one.I shoot a 7mm mag with 139gr.btsp and have connected at 450yards in utah on mule deer and three coues my farthest being a 385 yard shot last year.I would use this same gun and round for elk bear sheep lope you name it ---This round gets it done!!!!!I love my 7MM--minchester model 70 rifleman style (Heavy)mounted with a leopould variax 2 in 3x9x40.My next gun will be the tikka t3 in 7MMMag.Guess I could try my bushmaster a3 with aimpoint sights(223)?

Hey there guys,I am putting out the help call for a good friend who drew a muley tag for 20a.I am going to help him glass and don't know the unit well.Any starting points or advice would be greatly appreciated. i have seen only one in the wild and missed 42 yards with my bow---down angled shot and he/she was balled up trying to impersonate a rock. Gone like a bat out of heck when the arrow zipped into the bush behind him.Never seen montain lion before---They are at the top of my hunting wish list. Congrats and welcome.

They were definitely there last november-------so was every other aspect that you mentioned. sounds like fun but I wont be there till november hunt. Unless someone needs glassin help-----Then the trip would be more than dinner and laughs it be gettin dirty time!!!!!!

Account was just hit for 263 Utah bucks permit tag!!!I love rifle hunting big mulies in the Snow covered mountains of northern utah!!!!!!!Now If New Mexico will find it in their hearts to have me for antelope this year and 36b will have me back,it will be my kinda trifecta!!!

Got my first with a bow in unit 5a in 05 scouting for archery elk season.31yards and the hoyt scores!!!!!!!!only took 3 years of archery hunting to hit somthin.LOL!!!!

That is a sucessful tactic we used during the archery season in unit 6b.Wait in the forest between golf course and bedding area!!!!It works!
