Looked through the G&F regulations with regards to a round limit for handguns this past javelina HAM hunt....surely there is a limit as rifles have a limit....nope! No limit? Why? Anyone know the reasoning? I heard in the distance what sounded like an auto fire firearm during the HAM hunt and it was some yahoo in street cloth shooting at pig(s) running everywhere. Im sure it was the distance and the canyon that made it sound as if it was an auto fire but that shootout with the pigs didnt sound like careful aiming and trigger control! In the right hands most semiauto handguns can be deadly on the sink pigs or whitetails for that matter. I called in a pig to 10 yards and my friend shot with a 10mm in the lungs! In the wrong hands of the overzealous hunter(term used losely) they can wound an animal that may take days to die. I know, its up to the shooter to know their limits but one could make a case that the round limit for rifles (whatever the reasoning) sets a precedense and should be used to set a reasonable limit for handguns!

WOW! Great buck! Congrats

I bought camcorder on black Friday and did a little filming this past Sunday. The rut is on but the Big boys are still not out yet..............at least not where I am glassing! Hard to tell but the bigger buck is a giant fork with a tiny 3rd point on one side. The other buck is a 3.5 year old 3x3. There was 12 does and fawns. I made a couple of stocks on them but the slight wind and all those eye balls didn't help! It was fun just watching them!

What year is the bow? Can the draw length be decreased with those cams or are new ones needed

December hunt, new to coues but not to hunting
trophyhnter replied to moorehunter86's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I will be in the unit next week helping my friend on a muley hunt. We scouted last weekend and I saw some tanks with water that hadn't held water in years past......may mean healthier deer and a good rut year. Either way, it should be fun. Last year the big enough bucks were chasing does the weekend before Christmas. Good luck and don't over look the transition areas where you find muleys and whitetail. -
I would seem that legally the rest of the story should be very simple! Hope it is, getting a judgment against someone is great but getting the money is the tough part. Attorney fees are not joke and language like "reasonable attorney's fees" as part of a judgment hopefully cover ALL of your uncles! Hopefully your uncle take the leash off his attorney and try everything to get his money...like liens and wage garnishments! Good luck! Do you have a copy of the signed contract? I'm sure some Mexican official would like to look into the waste of Mexican resources without receiving their cut! I would wait until your uncle gets his money back.

Great writeup! Congrats on a great buck! What luck.....two years to get a December tag and a great buck 50 yards away! Sounds like you really earned this buck....next time your dad will be with you! -
These bucks were kind of sparring! Enjoy! Don't forget to change the setting to HD.

Never mind....got it to work

The video of the two bucks that I posted earlier were sharing 10 to 12 does! That day I saw 5 bucks and all had does with them! Change setting to HD
-
I have another segment to shows all the does they are sharing! I had a big write-up but my original post crapped out so the follow up was short!

Congrats on your success! The second picture is framed perfectly! Looks great!

Shot a good buck! Well it was a great shot with a camcorder! While out trying to find javelina in a new unit, I found several bucks! The one above was bedded in a great position to stock. It was late in the day and the sun was already on him. I inadvertently chased a huge covey of quail right over him on my stock! I got to 45 yards and waited him out but he had moved up several yards above his last bedding spot before I got to him. Of course I didn't know that so I got a good sun/wind burn waiting for him to get up. When he did, he gave me a very little time to range the distance and draw while he was eating. He walked behind a big boulder/brush and I never saw him again!

Way to go! I started my hunting passion 37B! Back in the 1990, there was a lot of pigs and deer in the unit.....some real giant deer!
