Congrats on your spot and your uncles buck! We play 21 questions with my dad about his license and tag leading up the hunt, the day we leave to set up camp, and just before we get going in the morning to hunt...........Inevitably there will be an "Oh sh!t, I left it in my other pants at camp" Good times with family!

Great shootn! My dad really likes his Win 30-30 but had to give it up because he had trouble focusing when aiming at long distances. Mostly him or the deer in shade gave him problems but the trusty open sight rifle always goings on our hunting trips just in case he can still hunt in the thick stuff!

Never hunted Unit 22 archery pigs but it should be fun! I didn't see before I put in that you could not hunt deer until January so that sucks for scouting without a bow in my hand in December!!

Congrats to your wife on her buck! How many points did you have to get drawn? I cannot seem to get drawn.....prob need to save my points for the hunt. Would be nice to hunt in late Oct early Nov without getting a third degree sunburn!

When you make yourself pee one last time before you go to bed and still have to get up several hours later. Since you cannot go back to sleep, you keep asking everyone (who are still asleep and have an alarm set) "What time is it?.....the alarm didn't go off!" every 30 minutes!

Only when bigorange and I hunt together, mainly I hunt solo, my brother is too busy. So do you hunt solo because you want to or no one is available go with you? I do a little of both. For day trips sometimes I like to go alone but more multiday trips its nice to have someone along to help glass and telling hunting lies around to campfire!
