I havent tried it yet but here is what i was thinking: locate a new site with mature trees close by and pile up dead and downed branches/trees around on the sides parrallel the game trail and tie long branched to the living trees that would allow deer to get in and out. Placing the branches in the same spacing as they do at the water tank projects. Sounds like a lot of work but it might work.

If you want someone to apply with you then you need someone with the same number of points or one less otherwise the points per applicant is added and divided by the number of applicants. Also, the latest stats show that for antelope the max number of points and number of applicants is: 24 pts-4hunters, 23pts-12 hunters, 22pts-36hunters; 21pts-144hunters, 20pts-279hunters......that does not include nonresident hunters. My friends had 20 pts this year and they didnt get drawn.....You have a better chance then people with less points but as you can see your not a lock just yet. Good luck next year and hopefully we wont need to wait for max points to hunt! As a side note, I was drawn in 1998 with 3 points in a unit that had 1 tag and that same year my brother and his friend applied together and were drawn in a unit with 3 tags and they also had 3 points!

Good info. Are you hiking in with the 50lb of corn and placing it all at once or are placing the 50lb bag in several trips as you check your camera?

It sure is fun chasing the sex crazed buck during the rut! This past rut was the best Ive seen the 5 or 6 years where I was hunting. People complain about G&F but so far they have allowed all hunter to have a trophy hunt every december and january! Hope it doesnt change! Good luck next year and you'll stick him then.

If you sign a settlement with the management firm hopefully your lawyer can keep that dentist hacks name out of it so you can sue him personally with your settlement money! Very nice buck! Huge congrats on your buck with stick and string. This past rut was the best I have seen in last 4 or 5 years, Despite all the bucks I saw, I failed on all my stocks! I nocked an arrow several times but never pulled the trigger for one reason or another!
