Unrelated but I hunt a transition zone where there are muleys and whitetail. On two separate years I have seen a mature whitetail running 5 to 6 mule deer does during the rut with smaller muley (2x2) bucks in the fringes of the herd. The first time I saw this, he was lip curling and grunting....really cool actually! In both cases that whitey ran those does for at least two weeks. The last time I saw this, a huge bodied 3x3 muley displaced the whitetail buck The Whitetail stayed on the fringes of the herd trying to cut a doe while the muley was chasing. Side note, the muley did a matrix move around my arrow and I still don't know how he spun and move out of the way! Anyway, I have not seen a hybrid yet but they are out there so keep the pics coming!

Very true! If anyone knows where I can find Kip Love with Exclusive Taxidermy from Queen Creek please let me know. I would like to pick up my first bobcat that was paid for. I'm wishful thinking but maybe someone knows where he is. I dealt with Kip Love (I think it was called Kip Love Taxidermy) ONCE 10+ years......................Like pulling teeth......bugged him enough............kept telling him that the second half of the mount fee (don't remember how much it was) was burning a hole in my wallet and I wanted to give it to him! Finally after countless, "It will be ready next month", I got my mount!

Thanks for the second pic but the deer's rack is obscured by the big dead tree will all the branches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly a giant deer and I'm glad you posted the second pic because the first pic alone did not due the buck justice!

That's two weeks away.............Still a chance it will dry up enough for the water to be effective! Regardless, this unit is great because you can actually glass and find elk from long distances! You should have a great hunt! Good luck!
