I am having some issues with my rifle and live in Thatcher...any gunsmiths anyone would recommend?

I am looking for a .22 rifle, bolt action to help my kiddos get comfortable with shooting. Any suggestions where, or any for sale by anyone here? I dont need anything fancy, but would like a good quality gun...i have a bunch of kids it has to outlast. 7 last time I counted Thanks

I am trying to find out what would be a good price on a used 22 250 remington 700 synthetic stock, not shot much at all, been painted camoflauge. I think the job was a good job, but you can tell it is after factory. thanks

Does anyone here know of any used, Remington 700 22 250 or new for a good price. Non stainless, I prefer a synthetic stock, shorter barrel, not bull barrel? Thanks

It is always nice to have a hunt end in harvest, but the best is just being out with the kids.

Thanks, I am pretty exclusively looking for remington, and in a BDL too. Thanks for the tips though, I will do some research.

We may be having pups, just a little late for christmas, they should be born around the middle of December, with the male we have and female we usually get a good mix of red and blue. Pm me if later than christmas would work.

:DI have been in Thatcher for a number of years now, never had anything like this in my yard or even heard about it in town. Usually during drought they may wander in but as for everyday occurances...not my experience at all. This pic was taken from my fence by my neighbor from our yard as he stood by me. This bear had some additional issues other than the one cited for the decision to kill it. I dont know them all but what I watched wasnt a "normal" bear wandering around. I am not an expert but it did not act in a healthy state. I was able to watch it for close to half an hour as it wandered around my two neighbors yards. My kids even got yelled at for coming by me to look at it What a week we have had in the Gila Valley.

I am wanting to get a new or used pistol but have no knowledge about pistols. I want something that is smaller than a regular glock 9 mill I want something that is bigger than a 22 mag but light weight. I dont like the revolver type action, I prefer slide and magazine in the handle. I am going to use this as personal protection out in the woods so I want it lightweight but something that is not a huge caliber, I doubt that I will use it much in personal protection not alaska or anything big, so recreational shooting would be a nice bonus too. I am wanting to teach my wife to shoot it too. Any suggestions? What caliber and what brand? Thanks.

I am looking for a varmint gun setup. A Remington 700 22 250, and a Leupold scope to top it off preferably 4-14 X40 or 50 mm objective. Anyone out there need to lighten their load let me know. thanks

Ya I teach school and I could get pinned down in a hurry. I was thinking that as a joke but in todays world it is too close to home to be saying I guess. :) I am still trying to decide but I really appreciate the info.
