Thanks I am still in the research I am having a hard time convincing myself and my wife to spend the money. I may work my way up to the swarovs and am wondering if the zeiss 15x45 are a good secondary choice. I know there is a difference and as you said a big one- but so is the cost.

Red Rabbit or anyone else- What is the quality of the Minox binoculars? I have only recently heard of them? How do they compare with the big names like swarovs and leica? Are they a good pair of bionos to start out on or not so good?

I am pretty new to the forum and am wondering what is the biggest reason that many of you mentioned that the swarvos 15x are so much better than the zeiss 15x45? Is there that much difference in the field of view that justifies the money? I love to cook in the dutch ovens. I try a little pecans on the top of mine. For those who like nuts--If you put the pecans in with the last bit of the cake mix and coat them really good by shaking it up together. Then put the pecans right on top --they wont burn because of the cake mix coating but they do get crunchy and it tasts great my family loves it now they wont have it any other way. :

What are the dimensions on the biinoculars? THe actual Physical dimensions, I wonder how much room in the pack they take up. As far as height and width and around the barrells. thanks

I am also looking at Binos but How is Steiner for clarity over long range? How do they compare to the more expensive brands like zeiss and swarovs? They are a little cheaper but what is the quality like? I have thought about getting some but dont want to go cheap, but really cant affort the high dollar binos.

Where did you get the Steiner 15x I cant find any info on them at all. Are they good for Whitetail or not? I am in the market but still researchihn what to buy.
